Before assuming her role at Montefiore this year, Ms. Blye served as executive vice president and CFO of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, an integrated healthcare system consisting of six hospitals and three nursing homes. Mark Bogen. Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO of South Nassau Communities Hospital (Oceanside, N.Y.). Mr. Bogen, a certified public accountant, has more than 35 years of healthcare financial management experience. In his role at South Nassau, he manages the hospital's finances, including financial reporting, growth financial planning and relationships with auditors and others. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Healthcare Compliance Association, among other professional organizations. Kevin Brennan. Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO of Geisinger Health System (Danville, Pa.). In addition to his roles at Geisinger Health System, Mr. Brennan is also the treasurer of the system's foundation. He has an MBA in healthcare administration from Philadelphia-based La Salle University and has been a certified public accountant since 1979. Mr. Brennan is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and has served on HFMA's national board of directors. Robert Broermann. Senior Vice President and CFO of Sentara Healthcare (Norfolk, Va.). Mr. Broermann has been in this role with Sentara since 2001, but he joined the system in 1998 when Sentara merged with Tidewater Health Care. In his current role, Mr. Broermann oversees all aspects of the system's finances and the financial personnel of all 12 Sentara operating divisions. He is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and holds an MBA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va. Mike Browder. Executive Vice President and CFO of RegionalCare Hospital Partners (Brentwood, Tenn.). Before joining RegionalCare, Mr. Browder was president and CEO of Essent Healthcare, which merged with RegionalCare in 2011. He started his career with Ernst & Young in Atlanta. Mr. Browder is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a member of the board of directors of the Nashville Sports Council. Jim Budzinski. Executive Vice President and CFO of WellStar Health System (Marietta, Ga.). Mr. Budzinski has been in his current role with WellStar since July 2008. He is also president of WellStar Health Network, the system's Medicare accountable care organization. In addition to holding down those roles, Mr. Budzinski was interim CEO of WellStar from August 2010 through August 2011. Before joining WellStar, he was CFO of St. John's Health System in Springfield, Mo. Michael Burke. Senior Vice President, Vice Dean and Corporate CFO of NYU Langone Medical Center (New York City). Mr. Burke joined NYU Langone Medical Center in 2008, and, since then, has overseen financial transformation including an overhaul of existing business processes and a turnaround in financial performance and profitability. He was previously with Tufts New England Medical Center, where he served as senior vice president and CFO. A certified public accountant, Mr. Burke serves on the provider advisory board of UnitedHealthcare and is involved in several professional organizations. Daniel Cancelmi. CFO of Tenet Healthcare (Dallas). Mr. Cancelmi has been CFO of for-profit Tenet Healthcare since September 2012, when he was promoted from principal accounting officer and senior vice president. He has also served as controller of the system. Before joining Tenet, Mr. Cancelmi was with PwC. Benjamin Carter. Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO of Trinity Health (Livonia, Mich.). In his roles with Trinity Health, Mr. Carter leads the system's finance and treasury functions, including investor relations, revenue excellence, payer strategies and risk management, among other functions. He joined the system in March 2010, coming from Detroit Medical Center, where he was executive vice president and COO. Mr. Carter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association and has served on several local organizations' boards. Larry Cash. President of Financial Services and CFO of Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.). Mr. Cash joined CHS in 1997 as executive vice president and CFO, and took on the role of president of financial services in 2014. CHS owns, operates or leases 160 hospitals in 22 states. Mr. Cash is professionally affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Nashville Health Care Council and serves on the board of Cross Country Healthcare, which provides nurse and allied staffing and human capital management services. Paul Castillo. CFO of University of Michigan Health System (Ann Arbor). Mr. Castillo, a certified public accountant, joined UMHS in November 2011. In this role, he oversees the system's integrated financial operations, including UM Hospitals and Health centers, the UM Medical School and the UM School of Nursing. Previously, he was vice president of finance and CFO of UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside. Steven Chen. CFO of Mercy Hospitals of Dignity Health (Bakersfield, Calif.). Mr. Chen took on his current role in February after serving as vice president of Executive Health Resources, a provider of medical necessity compliance solutions. He earned an MBA from Webber International University in Babson Park, Fla., and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Randy Combs. CFO of KentuckyOne Health (Louisville). Mr. Combs has gained more than 35 years of experience in healthcare, including nearly 25 years as a healthcare CFO. He joined KentuckyOne Health in 2014, coming to the system from St. Louis-based Mercy Health System, where he was executive vice president of strategic growth and CFO. Mr. Combs is a certified public accountant with a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri. Mike Connors. Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO of Cape Cod Healthcare (Hyannis, Mass.). This certified public accountant joined Cape Cod Healthcare in March 2009. He was previously with Signature Healthcare in Brockton, Mass., where he served as senior vice president and CFO. Mr. Connors has an MBA, with a concentration in healthcare, from Boston University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Thomas Corrigan. Executive Vice President and CFO of Christiana Care Health System (Newark, Del.). Mr. Corrigan joined Christiana Care in October 2006 after working as CFO of the ADP Brokerage Services Group in Jersey City, N.J., and president of ADP Investment Center in Wilmington, Del. He also cut his teeth in various roles at Anheuser-Busch. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and is a certified public accountant. Gordon Crabtree. CFO of University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics (Salt Lake City). Mr. Crabtree has held his current role since 2002, as well time spent as interim CEO during 2006. Before joining the system, Mr. Crabtree was managing director of finance for the Salt Lake City Olympic Committee. He has also worked for the state of Utah in finance-oriented positions. Mr. Crabtree has an MBA from the University of Utah.
