98 Christopher A. Holden (AmSurg). Mr. Holden is the president, CEO and director of AmSurg, a position he has held since joining AmSurg in Octo- ber 2007. Mr. Holden has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 28 years, mostly in multi-facility and multi-market healthcare management. Prior to joining AmSurg, Mr. Holden served as senior vice president and a di- vision president of HQ of Triad Hospital. Mr. Holden earned his JD and mas- ters in healthcare administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Bill Horne (Laser Spine Institute). Mr. Horn has been the CEO of the Laser Spine Institute for more than 10 years. He oversees the Institue nationwide, who employs more than 1,000 people. Previously, Mr. Horne worked for Outback Sports for eight years, serving as CEO and chairman. Richard K. Jacques (Covenant Surgical Partners). Mr. Jacques is the presi- dent and CEO of Covenant Surgical Partners. Mr. Jacques has over 23 years in the ASC industry, including senior management positions with both pub- lic and private healthcare companies. He previously served as president and a director of Surgical Health Group, and also as vice president of business development for AmSurg. Debbie James (Vivere Health). Debbie James is the president and CEO of Vivere Health, which she joined in 2013. Before Vivere, Ms. James served as marketing president for Healthways. She has also served as vice presi- dent at HealthNet. Ms. James received her MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Southern Illinois Uni- versity in Canondale. I. Naya Kehayes, MPH (EVEIA Health Consulting & Management). Ms. Kehayes serves as CEO and president of Eveia Health Consulting & Man- agement. Ms. Kehayes specializes in managed care contract negotiations, as well as analysis for ASCs, physician practices and clinics, surgical hospitals and health systems affiliates. Ms. Kehayes serves on the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association Government Affairs Committee. Tony Knapp (Physicians Surgery Centers). Mr. Knapp initially joined PSC in 2003, bringing 15 years of healthcare finance industry experience with him. Prior to joining PSC, Mr. Knapp was a vice president in Citibank's Citi- capital HealthCare & Energy Finance Group, where he originated funding for more than 40 successful, start-up ASCs. Before joining Copelco Capital, Mr. Knapp worked in Bell Atlantic Capital Corporation's Medical Finance Unit. Luke M. Lambert, MBA, CFA, CASC (Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America). Mr. Lambert came to ASCOA, as its CFO in 1997 and then be- came its CEO in 2002. Mr. Lambert has worked for Smith Barney in inter- national sell side equity research as well as with Booz, Allen & Hamilton and Ernst & Young in consulting. Mr. Lambert is a graduate of Harvard College, where he studied economics, and obtained his MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of Business. Shawn Strash (Arise Healthcare). Arise Healthcare named Mr. Strash CEO in June 2015. Mr. Strash succeeded Jared Leger, co-founder, managing part- ner and CEO of Arise, who continues as the company's managing partner. Mr. Strash most recently was senior vice president of corporate services and was a board member for AmSurg. Prior to joining AmSurg, Mr. Strash was CEO of various other hospitals Scott Leggett (Surgery One). Mr. Leggett is the CEO of Surgery One, bring- ing 20 years of experience in orthopedics. Surgery One manages four outpa- tient surgery centers located in San Diego County. Mr. Leggett was president of the California Ambulatory Surgery Association from 2006 to 2007, and currently serves on its board of directors. Jeff Leland (Blue Chip Surgical Center Partners). Mr. Leland previously served as executive director of the Lutheran General Medical Group. He also previously served as a senior-level executive with Advocate Health Care in Chicago, responsible for both business development and Advocate's health plan. Additionally, Mr. Leland previously served as president of HealthSpring Medical Group, and as CEO of Western Ohio Health Care. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School in Boston with undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. Michael Lipomi (Surgical Management Professionals). Mr. Lipomi has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in development and operations. He was the founder of the California Ambulatory Surgery Association as well as Physician Hospitals of America. Mr. Lipomi served on the Board of Direc- tors of FASA for six years including three years on the executive committee as Legislative Committee Chair. He is also a past president of CASA. Aer converting his surgery center to a hospital, Mr. Lipomi founded Physicians Hospitals of America and has served as president on the board of directors. Mr. Lipomi is still on the Board as an exofficio member and on the President's Advisory Committee. Rodney H. Lunn (PhyBus). Mr. Lunn is the founder and CEO of PhyBus. As a founding member of AmSurg, he created one of the first companies solely dedicated to the development and management of surgery centers. Mr. Lunn has served in numerous management roles, including vice president of finance and CEO for American Medical Centers, CFO of INA (now Cigna) Healthplan of Texas and vice president of HealthAmerica of Florida. omas Mallon (Regent Surgical Health). Mr. Mallon is co-founder and CEO of Regent Surgical Health. Mr. Mallon has significant experience in ven- ture capital funds, turnarounds and physician recruitment, and offers facili- ties his expertise on all aspects of clinical and financial operations. He earned a BA from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and his MBA from the Harvard Business School in Boston. Bryan Massoud, MD (Spine Centers of America). Dr. Massoud founded Spine Centers of America and has performed thousands of procedures using endoscopic techniques for the treatment of many spinal disorders, includ- ing cervical and lumbar disc herniations, thoracic disc herniations, spinal stenosis, failed back surgery syndrome, degenerative disc disease, spondylo- listhesis, scoliosis and infections. Dr. Massoud instructs orthopedic residents and physicians in new minimally invasive surgical procedures such as kypho- plasty and endoscopic techniques. Kris Mineau (Constitution Surgery Centers). Mr. Mineau is president and CEO of Constitution Surgery Centers, which he co-founded in 1997. CSC centers perform more than 75,000 outpatient cases annually. Prior to found- ing CSC, Mr. Mineau was a pilot in the United States Air Force. He received a bachelor's degree in management from e United States Air Force Academy in 1988. He is involved in numerous professional organizations including the Connecticut Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers, where he served as its founding president. Jessica Nantz (Outpatient Healthcare Strategies). Ms. Nantz is presi- dent and founder of Outpatient Healthcare Strategies. She has worked in healthcare for the last 25 years and has focused on outpatient health- care for the past 15 years. She founded mdStrategies, an ASC coding company, which she sold and then went on to be the founder and prin- cipal of ASC Strategies. ASC Strategies focuses on hospital outpatient departments and ASCs.
