Mike Heather. CFO of Prime Healthcare Services (Ontario, Calif.). Mr. Heather spent time as CFO of Prospect Medical Holdings be- fore joining Prime Healthcare in 2013. While at Prospect, he led the company's IPO in 2005 and was responsible for internal and external financial reporting. Mr. Heather has experience with banking, treasury, regulatory reporting and investor relations. Scott Herndon. Senior Vice President and CFO of Ascension Texas (Austin). Mr. Hern- don leads financial operations and strategies for Ascension Texas. He previously spent time in financial operations at HCA medical centers in Florida and CFO of Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami. He has experience with stra- tegic planning, increasing commercial volume and securing capital for excess of $127 million for facility improvements. Dennis Hesch. Regional Health. Mr. Jones oversees financial operations for Lakeland Regional Health, which includes the 864-bed Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. e hospital employs around 5,400 team members and includes more than 210,000 emergency de- partment visits. Jeff Jones. Executive Vice President and CFO of Cone Health (Greensboro, N.C.). Mr. Jones became executive vice president and CFO of Cone Health in 2013, overseeing financial op- erations for the six-hospital health system. He previously served as senior vice president of fi- nance for Cleveland Clinic's regional hospitals. In addition to his responsibilities with Cone Health, Mr. Jones is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and Health Management Academy. Adam Kempf. Senior Vice President and CFO of Norton Healthcare (Louisville, Ky.). Mr. Kempf spent six years in public accounting before joining Norton Healthcare in 2001 as a senior internal auditor. He is now senior vice president and CFO, responsible for the health system's accounting systems, capital and oper- ational budgets and long-term financial plan- ning. He is active in the Kentucky chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. John Kerndl. Executive Vice President and CFO of Beaumont Health (Southfield, Mich.). Mr. Kerndl is responsible for Beaumont's finan- cial operations, including revenue cycle, internal controls, accounts payable, budgeting and finan- cial strategic planning. As executive vice presi- dent and CFO of the system, Mr. Kerndl also oversees the strategic investments, investor rela- tions and supply chain functions. Prior to join- ing Beaumont in 2016, Mr. Kerndl spent time as senior vice president and operations CFO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint. Greg Klugherz. Senior Vice President of Fi- nance and CFO of CentraCare Health (St. Cloud, Minn.). Mr. Klugherz oversees the fi- nancial operations for CentraCare Health, a nonprofit health system with hospitals across central Minnesota. As senior vice president and CFO of the system, Mr. Klugherz also has finan- cial responsibility for the system's 25 clinics. JoAnn Kunkel. CFO of Sanford Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.). Ms. Kunkle joined Sanford Health more than 25 years ago as a budget an- alyst and was appointed CFO in 2012. During her tenure, Ms. Kunkle played an integral role in the health system's growth from a $300 mil- lion hospital to a $4.5 billion system. In her role, she oversees financial operations for the system's 44 hospitals, 482 clinics and more than 200 senior living facilities. Kathy Lancaster. Executive Vice President and CFO of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan (Oakland, Calif.). Aer joining Kaiser Permanente in 1998, Ms. Lancaster was promoted to CFO in 2005. She is responsible for the health system's corporate finance, finan- cial planning, financial systems and revenue management. She also has oversight of supply chain, data analytics, actuarial services and the enterprise shared services. Before she joined Kaiser, Ms. Lancaster held senior leadership roles for Prudential Insurance Company's Western region. Dennis Laraway. CFO of Banner Health (Phoenix). In 2017, Mr. Laraway joined Banner Health as CFO aer overseeing a $5 billion-plus budget as executive vice president and CFO of Memorial Hermann Health System. He also has experience as CFO for Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas. In his current role, Mr. Laraway is responsible for the financial operations of the health system, which includes 50,000 employees and 28 hospitals. Kevin Lenahan. Senior Vice President and Chief Finance and Administrative Officer of Atlantic Health System (New Jersey). Mr. Len- ahan became CFO of Atlantic Health System in 2010 and helped the organization grow to more than $2.7 billion in annual revenue. He is now responsible for the financial operations of the health system, which employs around 16,000 people in New Jersey and includes Atlantic Home Care and Hospice. He also serves as president of Atlantic Health System Insur- ance, a captive insurance company. During his tenure, the health system's Moody's rat- ing increased to Aa3 and S&P gave Atlantic Health System an AA- rating. Darryl Linnington. Regional Director of Fi- nancial Planning and Analysis of McAlester (Okla.) Regional Health Center. Mr. Linning- ton has spent more than a decade as CFO of McAlester Regional Health Center. He has ex- perience in financial turnaround and revenue growth, improving collections and implement- ing cost reductions. Prior to joining McAlester, Mr. Linnington managed the finances of a phy- sician-owned surgical specialty hospital in Cali- fornia and CHS. Michelle Mahan.
