In her role, Ms. Donaldson oversees a budget of more than $1 billion, and under her leadership the system has reported margins over the indus- try averages. Christopher Dunleavy. CFO of Brigham Health (Boston). Mr. Dunleavy became senior vice president and CFO of Brigham Health in May 2016. In his role, he oversees the financial operations for the health system's two hospitals, 150 outpatient practices and 1,200 physicians. He has spent more than 26 years in financial management and strategic planning, and served as group senior vice president and CFO of Vi- zient. Prior to his time at Vizient, Mr. Dunleavy was vice president and CFO of USMD Holdings, which includes a health system in Texas. Dan Enderson. Senior Vice President and CFO of Centura Health (Centennial, Colo.). Mr. Enderson became senior vice president and CFO of Centura Health in 2011, and is respon- sible for the financial operations of the 17-hos- pital health system. He has previous experience as senior vice president and CFO of Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Burleson, Texas, and regional CFO of the southwest region of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth. In his early career, Mr. Enderson was vice president of finance and corporate operations for Adven- tHealth. Steve Filton. Executive Vice President and CFO of Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.). Mr. Filton is responsible for the financial operations of United Health Services, an organization with acute care hospitals, ASCs and behavioral health centers. As executive vice president and CFO, Mr. Filton has been integral in ensuring the organization maintains a strong balance sheet and high ratings from Moody's and S&P. In the first quarter of 2019, the health system reported a 4.3 percent increase in net rev- enue to $2.8 billion. Kenneth Fisher. Associate Vice President of Finance for UI Health Care and CFO of University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (Iowa City). Mr. Fisher became associate vice presi- dent for finance at UI Health Care and CFO of University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in June 2007. He is responsible for the health system's major financial operations and personnel. Prior to joining UI Health Care, Mr. Fisher was direc- tor for Navigant Consulting and interim CFO and consultant for private and academic health care systems. Henry Franey. Executive Vice President and CFO of University of Maryland Medical Sys- tem (Baltimore). Mr. Franey has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector. He became senior vice president and CFO of Uni- versity of Maryland Medical Center in 1992 and is now responsible for the UMMS's financial and capital planning, investment and debt manage- ment, and financial reporting. He also oversees rate setting and reimbursement. In addition to his role with UMMS, Mr. Franey has served on the National Advisory Council of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Lawrence Furnstahl. Executive Vice President and CFO of Oregon Health & Science Univer- sity (Portland). Mr. Furnstahl is responsible for the financial and operational management of Oregon Health & Science University as execu- tive vice president and CFO. e health system includes two hospitals and two partner hospi- tals as well as 16,478 employees. Mr. Furnstahl is integral in managing the system's $3 billion operating budget. He has previous experience as chief financial and strategy officer for the Uni- versity of Chicago Medical Center. John Geppi. Executive Vice President and CFO of Covenant Health (Knoxville, Tenn.). Mr. Geppi is responsible for the financial op- erations of Covenant Health, which includes nine acute care hospitals and more than 1,500 affiliated physicians. In 2016, the health system reported $1.2 billion in operating revenue. As executive vice president and CFO, Mr. Geppi is an integral member of the system's strategic leadership team. Steven Glass. CFO and Treasurer of Cleveland Clinic. Mr. Glass joined Cleveland Clinic as controller and chief accounting officer in 2002 and then became treasurer and CFO in 2005. He oversees Cleveland Clinic's financial operations and is responsible for its 11 owned hospitals and two managed hospitals as well as more than 3,000 employed physicians. Mr. Glass previously served as vice president of finance for MedStar Health, where he also gained experience with mergers and acquisitions. Michael Gleason. CFO of Baptist Health Care (Pensacola, Fla.). As senior vice president and CFO of Baptist Health Care, Mr. Gleason over- sees the financial operations of the three-hospi- tal health system, which also includes four med- ical parks and a behavioral health network. Mr. Gleason joined Baptist Health Care in 2015 aer spending time as senior vice president, CFO and treasurer of the University of Florida Health Jacksonville. Richard Goode. President of Corporate Ser- vices and CFO for Children's Health (Dallas). Mr. Goode joined Children's Health in May 2016 and is responsible for the system's financial management, including capital planning, bud- gets, accounting, insurance, investments and revenue cycle. He is also responsible for assess- ing how reimbursement changes will affect the system and business analytics as the president of corporate services and CFO. Prior to joining Children's Health, Mr. Goode spent time as an entrepreneur launching, growing and selling companies. Joe Guarracino. Senior Vice President and CFO of White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital. Mr. Guarracino joined White Plains Hospital in 2016 aer spending more than 25 years over- seeing financial operations for healthcare orga- nizations. In his role as senior vice president and CFO, Mr. Guarracino oversees financial opera- tions, patient accounts and accounts payable for the hospital. Prior to joining White Plains, Mr. Guarracino was senior vice president and CFO of Brooklyn Hospital Center and CFO of three Health Quest System hospitals. Dana Haering. CFO of Lucile Packard Chil- dren's Hospital Stanford (Palo Alto, Calif.). Ms. Haering was named interim CFO of Lu- cile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford in 2013 and promoted to CFO in 2014. She spent more than 20 years in the accounting industry, serving healthcare organizations that include academic medical centers, community hospitals and health plans. She also spent time as a senior manager at KPMG in the healthcare practice. Suzanne Haggard. CFO of LCMC Health (New Orleans). Ms. Haggard oversees LCMC Health's financial and revenue cycle processes. In 2014, she was integral to the opening of New Orleans East Hospital and University Medical Center New Orleans a year later. She has ex- perience improving hospitals profitability, cost structure and revenue cycles and spent time in healthcare management and consulting before she joined LCMC. Don Halliwill. Executive Vice President and CFO of Carilion Clinic (Roanoke, Va.). Mr. Halliwill became CFO of Carilion Clinic in 2013 with more than 20 years of his experience in healthcare. He originally joined Carilion Clinic in 1997 and spent time as director of finance for the New River region as well as CEO of New River Valley Medical Center. In his current role, Mr. Halliwill oversees the financial operations for the nonprofit healthcare organization, which includes around 225 practice sites. Fred Hargett. CFO of Novant Health (Win- ston-Salem, N.C.). Mr. Hargett is executive vice president and CFO of Novant Health, an orga- nization he joined in 2003. He spent time as ex- ecutive vice president of finance and senior vice president of financial planning before taking on his current role. Prior to joining Novant, Mr. Hargett was a manager of healthcare consulting at Ernst & Young. Charles Handley. Market CFO for the El Paso and Rio Grande Market of Tenet Healthcare (Dallas). Mr. Handley is the market CFO for the
