St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare is seeking total ownership of two Illinois hospitals the health system acquired through a merger in 2016. Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Hold- ings and Providence, R.I.-based Brown Uni- versity are reportedly in discussions to jointly purchase Care New England, also in Provi- dence. Irving, N.Y.-based TLC Health Network con- firmed plans to merge with Dunkirk, N.Y.- based Brooks Memorial Hospital and affiliate with Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health. Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health revealed plans to merge two of its Michigan health sys- tems into a single 10-hospital organization. Portland, Ore.-based OHSU and Adventist Health Portland finalized an agreement to integrate the organizations' clinical activities and services. Hospital and Health System Executive Moves DuBois, Pa.-based Penn Highlands Healthcare selected Tarun K. Ghosh as its new CFO. Norwalk, Ohio-based Fisher-Titus Health sys- tem appointed Matthew Gross CEO, effective Dec. 1. Saint Luke's North Hospital, with locations in Kansas City, Mo., and Smithville, Mo., appoint- ed Adele Ducharme permanent CEO. Jayne Van Bramer has been selected to serve as CEO of Lancaster (Pa.) Behavioral Health Hos- pital, which is still under construction and set to open in summer 2018. Baptist Health Paducah (Ky.) made interim President Chris Roty's appointment perma- nent. CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, Neb., se- lected Derek Vance to serve as president. e Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services appointed Brett M. John- son CEO of Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hos- pital in Toledo. Commonwealth Health's Berwick (Pa.) Hospi- tal Center selected omas Neal, RN, to serve as permanent CEO.
