Annette Buckel. Vice President of Wellness at St. Joseph Health (Irvine, Calif.). Ms. Buckel is using her position as vice president of well- ness to influence how St. Joseph Health deliv- ers care. During her tenure, Ms. Buckel has overseen St. Joseph's wellness center strategy and developed its retail wellness center; she has launched five such centers to date, which tout a combined 98.5 percent customer satis- faction rating. Retail wellness center customers reported a 29 percent reduction in inactivity, a 4.3 percent reduction in obesity and a 13.5 percent decrease in overall stress levels. Jita Buño. Director of Supply Chain Manage- ment at UC Davis Medical Center (Sacramen- to). Ms. Buño has served as director of supply chain management for UC Davis Medical Cen- ter since 2013. In this role, she offers strategic and tactical leadership for procurement, stra- tegic sourcing and operations. e Institute of Supply Chain honored Ms. Buño with the 2017 Economic Cycle Research Institute's Achieve- ment Award. She has served on the American College of Healthcare Executives' Event Plan- ning Committee and Vizient Value Analysis Committee and continues to serve as a member of ACHE. Before joining UC Davis, she served as a U.S. Navy intelligence officer. Walt Cathey. CEO of Covenant Medical Center (Lubbock, Texas). Mr. Cathey over- sees 5,200 employees as the CEO of Covenant Medical Center, a nonprofit acute care hospital. He previously served as the hospital's vice pres- ident and then COO before taking the helm. Mr. Cathey played a key role in expanding the hospital's outpatient services as part of Cove- nant Health Systems' $450 million renovation projects, launched in 2015. He also serves as leadership development vice chair of the Texas Hospital Association. Heather Cheng, MD, PhD. Director of Seat- tle Cancer Care Alliance Prostate Center Ge- netics. Dr. Cheng serves as director of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Prostate Cancer Genetics Clinic, which she helped form. An established researcher, Dr. Cheng has led numerous clini- cal trials and received several awards in recog- nition of her work, including the Investigator 2014 Conquer Cancer Foundation of Ameri- can Society of Clinical Oncology Merit Award. Her clinical practice focuses on prostate can- cer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer, early-on- set and aggressive prostate cancer, and familial and hereditary prostate cancer. Eric Curry. Vice President of Strategic Plan- ning of OSF HealthCare (Peoria, Ill.). Mr. Curry is one of the youngest vice presidents at OSF HealthCare at 31 years old. In his role, he leads the $2.4 billion health system's strate- gic planning. His primary focus is devising a strategy for OSF to leverage big data that will enhance patient access to care in both urban and rural areas. Mr. Curry has expertise in gen- erating consumer insights due to time spent early in his career as a management consultant to many Fortune 500 clients. He is currently leading a strategic partnership with a region- al university to further OSF's collaboration on pressing healthcare issues. Jerome Dayao. Chief Nursing Officer of Ar- rowhead Regional Medical Center (Colton, Calif.). Since joining Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in 2013, Mr. Dayao has driven several transformational changes in the hos- pital's nursing department. He spearheaded efforts to educate and develop charge nurse groups throughout the organization and imple- mented numerous patient-centered service ini- tiatives that increased patient satisfaction scores to the 90th percentile. He spent four years as the associate CNO and assistant hospital adminis- trator before being named interim CNO in April 2017 and then CNO two months later. He is an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives. Desha Dickson. Director of Community Health and Engagement at Reading Health System (West Reading, Pa.). As director of community health and engagement, Ms. Dick- inson was instrumental in launching Reading Health System's Employee Engagement Initia- tive in 2012. e initiative allows employees to participate in one volunteer activity each calendar year during the workday. Aer Ms. Dickinson became chair of the Reading Health System United Way Campaign in 2015, dona- tions increased 10 percent. She also developed an internship program at the health system for local high school students to gain work experi- ence and has supported community beautify- ing efforts throughout West Reading. Snehal Doshi. Vice President of Pharmacy Services at WellStar Health System (Mariet- ta, Ga.). During Mr. Doshi's tenure, WellStar Health System received the Georgia Hospitals Association's Quality and Patient Safety Award. Before joining WellStar, Mr. Doshi was president of prescribed minimum benefits operations at Safeway/Albertsons Pharmacy, where he earned recognition for innovation. In addition to his work with the health system, Mr. Doshi was a member of a task force created to pass SB493 in California in 2013, which expanded the role and function of pharmacists in the state and legally recognized pharmacists as providers. Jonathan Douglas. Area Vice President of Supply Chain and Chief Resource Officer — Central of e Resource Group, a subsidiary of Ascension (St. Louis). In his current posi- tion, Mr. Douglas is responsible for supply chain management for three of Ascensions' five largest markets, which account for approximately 70 hospitals and more than $1.5 billion in purchas- ing power. Mr. Douglas joined Ascension in 2009 as a manager of operations and quickly ad- vanced through the company to his current role. Colin Drylie. Director of Innovation at Hu- mana (Louisville, Ky.). Mr. Drylie has been the director of innovation for Humana since October 2015, prior to which he spent a year as the insurer's entrepreneur in residence. In his current role, Mr. Drylie has led successful initiatives to realize new business models and partnerships. He built, tested and scaled collab- orative team models to manage post-discharge care and structured a clinical trial for enrollees age 65 and over to evaluate the engagement and effectiveness of a blood glucose control solution that eventually integrated into a care manage- ment model. Prior to joining Humana, Mr. Dry- lie spent three years as the director of finance and strategy for Advanced Reclaim in Toronto. Sasha DuBois, RN. Nurse Administrator at Brigham and Women's Hospital (Boston). Ms. DuBois was the inaugural Mairead Hickey Leadership Fellow in the department of nursing at Brigham and Women's Hospital before be- coming the nurse administrator. She serves on the National Black Nurses Association board of directors and as the vice president of the New England Regional Black Nurses Association. Ms. DuBois has a particular interest in develop- ing the next generation of nurses and works as a mentor at the Boston-based Simmons College Dotson Bridge and Mentoring Program. e National Minority Quality Forum recognized Ms. DuBois with the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Award for 2017. LeAnna Fries. Administrative Director of In- formatics Education and Engagement at Stan- ford Health Care (Calif.). During her time at Stanford, Ms. Fries has been committed to her mission of driving physician adoption, engage- ment, and optimization through education. Ms. Fries spearheads a targeted provider optimiza- tion program and oversees training strategy for clinical transformation and enterprise expansion. rough her dedicated community service, she was awarded the "C-I-CARE Service Spotlight Award" by the CEO in 2016. Before joining Stanford, she worked in leadership positions at Dignity Health, Providence Health & Services and volunteered for the U.S. Peace Corps as a health education lead. She was also the CEO and co-founder of EnableMD, an HIT technology consulting group offering services to providers to ease EHR transitions in ambulatory and acute care settings. Ms. Fries continues to champion women's engagement in healthcare IT. Brian Fuller. Vice President of Value-based Care at naviHealth (Brentwood, Tenn.). Mr. Fuller has served as vice president of val- ue-based care at naviHealth, a Cardinal Health company, since December 2015. He served as a consultant to CMS to the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement initiative and continues to
