Before then, Mr. Morisette served as the CFO of Stanford (Calif.) Health Care since October 2007. At Stanford Health, the CFO helped establish an international presence for the organization by facilitating business activity in locations like Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates. Kenneth Morris. Senior Vice President, Treasurer and CFO of Duke University Health System (Durham, N.C.). Mr. Morris has been CFO and treasurer of Duke University Health System since August 2000. Mr. Morris contributes on all actions regarding organizational strategy and change. Before coming to Duke, he served as CFO of Mission Health in Asheville, N.C., and at Loyola University Health System in Maywood, Ill. He has also held positions with International Telephone and Telegraph and Johnson & Johnson. Leif Murphy. Executive Vice President and CFO of LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.). Mr. Murphy joined the LifePoint team in 2011 as executive vice president and chief development officer, and he was named CFO in 2013. In his role at LifePoint, Mr. Murphy manages in-market expansion efforts at LifePoint hospitals, pursuing measures to enhance the services offered at each facility. Executive Vice President and System CFO of Illinois Health and Science (Decatur, Ill.). Mr. Naqvi serves as CFO of IHS, which operates several healthcare entities, including Decatur Memorial Hospital. Mr. Naqvi's resume boasts experience with top consulting firms and Fortune 500 companies in several industries. The central focus of his career has been on hospital systems growth management, mergers and acquisitions, financing, investment management, technology based transformation and strategy. Mr. Naqvi authors the blog "The Fiscal Cliff Survival Guide." In addition to his role at IHS, Mr. Naqvi is an adjunct instructor for MBA business strategy at Millikin University in Decatur. Robert O'Keefe. Senior Vice President and CFO of UW Hospitals and Clinics (Madison, Wis.). In February 2015 Mr. O'Keefe began his current responsibilities at UW Hospitals and Clinics, where he oversees fiscal operations, general accounting, treasury, payroll, accounts payable, budget and government reimbursement. Prior to joining UW Health, he spent 20 years with Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, carrying out a multitude of financial responsibilities. Mr. O'Keefe is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from UW-Whitewater, where he was captain of the varsity baseball team. John Orsini. Senior Vice President and CFO of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare (Chicago). Mr. Orsini is a certified public accountant and began his role at NMHC in 2014 after the organization's merger with Cadence Health, based in Winfield, Ill. Mr. Orsini started his career auditing for the Arizona Department of Health Services. He has held corporate finance positions at a variety of different institutions, including Presence Health, a 12-hospital system based in Chicago, and Scripps Health in San Diego. Todd Ostendorf. CFO of Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Mr. Ostendorf joined Children's in April after serving as CFO of North Memorial Health Care in Robbinsdale, Minn., for nearly three years. Before then, Mr. Ostendorf served in finance administration with Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealth Group. He has nine years of healthcare experience and more than two decades of financial leadership expertise across a multitude of complex, highly regulated industries. Eric Peburn. Executive Vice President and CFO of Halifax Health (Daytona Beach, Fla.). In 2007, Mr. Peburn assumed his role as CFO of Halifax Health after joining the organization as a corporate controller in 1996. Mr. Peburn earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville and is a certified public accountant. He was previously an auditor with Ernst & Young. Blaine Petersen. CFO of Loyola University Health System (Maywood, Ill.). Mr. Petersen is new to Loyola, joining the system as CFO in March. Before then, he was CFO of Boise, Idaho-based Saint Alphonsus Health System. Alice Pope. CFO of HonorHealth (Scottsdale, Ariz.). Ms. Pope began her role as CFO of HonorHealth in May. She previously served executive vice president and CFO of Wellmont Health System in Kingsport, Tenn., since 2012 and worked with the Wellmont system for 16 years total in several roles as a financial leader. Ms. Pope is a certified public accountant with more than two decades of experience in finance. Jim Porter. CFO of St. Bernard Hospital (Chicago). Mr. Porter has more than 25 years of healthcare financial management experience — he has served as CFO for both standalone hospitals and hospitals that are a part of larger delivery networks. Before joining St. Bernard, Mr. Porter was regional finance officer for Presence Health, which is the largest Medicaid provider in the Illinois. Mr. Porter is currently the treasurer of his local ACHE chapter. Scott Posecai. Executive Vice President and CFO of Ochsner Health System (New Orleans). Mr. Posecai is currently responsible for accounting, budgeting, reimbursement, revenue cycle and supply chain at Ochsner. Mr. Posecai earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of New Orleans and is a licensed certified public accountant. Mr. Posecai was honored as Alumnus of the Year in 2004 by the University of New Orleans College of Business. William Pugh. Senior Vice President, Treasurer and CFO of PinnacleHealth System (Harrisburg, Pa.). Mr. Pugh has 30 years of CFO experience and more than 35 years of senior leadership experience. Mr. Pugh joined PinnacleHealth System in December 2007. He provides executive leadership for strategic financial planning, financial operations, treasury management, payer relations and supply chain management. In addition to his fiscal responsibilities, Mr. Pugh assumes a leadership role in hospital operations. Connie Prewitt. CFO of Billings (Mont.) Clinic. Ms. Prewitt has shared her strategic financial vision, project management and personnel management for multispecialty groups and hospital organizations for nearly 20 years. At Billings Clinic, Ms. Prewitt oversees all financial aspects of the hospital, skilled nursing facility and physician group practice. Ms. Prewitt also serves on the investment subcommittee for Billings Clinic's board of directors.
