In 2014, Grant Regional Health Center was one of the iVantage Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals. In 2015, iVantage Health Analytics named it a HealthStrong Hospital. Greer (S.C.) Memorial Hospital. Greer Memorial Hospital, part of Greenville (S.C.) Health System, is a 58-bed hospital located between Greenville and Spartanburg. Last year, the hospital received the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold-Plus Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for the treatment of stroke patients. This year, the hospital was named a 100 Top Hospital by Truven Health Analytics, and it received Healthgrades' Outstanding Patient Expe- rience Award. Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center (Panama City, Fla.). Gulf Coast Community Hospital opened in 1977. Today, the 196-bed hospital has hundreds of physicians that represent more than 30 specialties and subspecialties. Gulf Coast Com- munity Hospital was recently recognized for its dedication to patient safety by being awarded an A grade in the spring 2015 Hospital Safety Score from The Leapfrog Group, which rates how well hospitals protect patients from preventable medi- cal errors, injuries and infections within the hos- pital. Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center was named one of the 100 Top Hospitals in 2014 by Truven Health Analytics. Hamilton Medical Center (Dalton, Ga.). Lo- cated in northwestern Georgia, roughly 30 miles southeast of Chattanooga, Tenn., Hamilton Medi- cal Center is a 282-bed regional referral hospital that was founded in 1921. In 2015, Truven Health Analytics recognized the medical center with the Everest Award and named it a 100 Top Hos- pital for the third time. Hamilton is also a 2015 iVantage HealthStrong Top Hospital. CareChex ranked Hamilton Medical Center No. 8 in the state of Georgia in overall medical care. Hammond-Henry Hospital (Geneseo, Ill.). Founded in 1901, Hammond-Henry Hospital is a 62-bed hospital located roughly 150 miles west of Chicago. Hammond-Henry Hospital was rec- ognized as a 2015 HealthStrong Top Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics. Last year, Hammond- Henry achieved Stage 6 on the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model, and was one of the iVan- tage Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals. Hegg Memorial Health Center (Rock Valley, Iowa). Hegg Memorial Health Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital. The hospital is located in far Northwest Iowa between two larger cities; Sioux City, Iowa, and Sioux Falls, S.D. and is part of Sioux Falls-based Avera. Hegg Memorial was named a 2015 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics. The hospital has been named one of the top critical access hospitals in the country by iVantage Health Analytics for the past four years. Holland (Mich.) Hospital. Located roughly 180 miles from Detroit, Holland Hospital is an inde- pendent, nonprofit hospital with 189 beds. Truven Health Analytics named the hospital one of its 100 Top Hospitals in 2015. This year, iVantage Health Analytics also named Holland a HealthStrong Hospital, and Healthgrades selected it one of the 50 best hospitals in the country. Additionally, Hol- land received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence this year from Healthgrades. Houston Methodist Sugar Land (Texas) Hos- pital. Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital opened in 1998 and has continued to grow ever since. Today, the hospital has 1,500 employees, about 1,000 of which live in Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford or other Fort Bend County commu- nities. Houston Methodist Sugar Land was named a 100 Top Hospital by Truven Health Analytics in 2015. The hospital has also received the 2015 Patient Safety Excellence Award, along with two Specialty Excellence Awards, from Healthgrades. HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese (Ill.). St. Jo- seph's Hospital Breese has served the people of Clinton County for more than 100 years. It em- ploys roughly 320 people and had 1,308 inpatient admissions last year. In addition to being named to Truven Health Analytics' 100 Top Hospitals list in 2014 and 2015, St. Joseph's Hospital Breese also received the Truven Health 100 Top Hospi- tals Everest Award this year, which means that the hospital set benchmarks for the fastest long- term improvement on Truven's scorecard. Just 17 hospitals earned this distinction last year. The hospital also earned the Patient Safety Excellence and Outstanding Patient Experience awards from Healthgrades every year since 2013. Hudson (Wis.) Hospital. Hudson Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a history that goes back more than 60 years. The hospital stands out in that it is the only hospital in western Wis- consin to offer 24/7 emergency medicine physi- cians. Hudson Hospital was named one of the iVantage 2015 Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals. It also was named a 2015 iVantage HealthStrong Hospital. Additionally, Hudson Hospital was awarded two environmental achievement awards this year by Practice Greenhealth. Huntersville (N.C.) Medical Center. Huntersville Medical Center is a 75-bed hospital that is part of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health. The hospital provides emergency services, outpatient services, acute care beds and maternity care to the residents of north Mecklenburg County and surrounding communities. The hospital's web- site allows patients to view approximate urgent care wait times before they arrive. It was named a HealthStrong Hospital by iVantage Health Analyt- ics this year. The hospital also received the Patient Safety Excellence Award, as well as three Specialty Excellence Awards, this year from Healthgrades. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital (Fairfax, Va.). With close to 200 beds, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is a com- munity hospital serving the suburbs of Northern Virginia. It was named a HealthStrong Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics this year. The hospital also received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence, as well as four Specialty Excel- lence Awards, this year from Healthgrades. Ad- ditionally, U.S. News & World Report ranked Fair Oaks as the No. 14 hospital in Virginia and No. 9 in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Kishwaukee Hospital (DeKalb, Ill.). Kishwaukee Hospital is a 98-bed private, nonprofit, short term, general acute community hospital. Its emergency department is staffed 24/7 with board-certified emergency medicine physicians. More than 150 physicians on the voluntary, community-based medical staff represent most every specialty. Kish- waukee Hospital was named a HealthStrong Hos- pital by iVantage Health Analytics this year. Lakeland Regional Medical Center (St. Joseph, Mich.). Lakeland Regional Medical Center is a 204-bed facility located approximately 100 miles from Chicago. The hospital is home of the Freder- ick S. Upton Education Center. This year, Lakeland Regional Medical Center was named a Health- Strong Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics. In 2014, the hospital received the Governor's Award of Excellence for Outstanding Inpatient Clinical Achievement in the Acute-Care Hospital Setting. The hospital also received the Patient Safety Ex- cellence Award last year from Healthgrades. Lakeview Hospital (Bountiful, Utah). This 128- bed, 210,000-square-foot hospital first opened in 1961. Today, it has a medical staff of more than 200 physicians representing more than 25 specialties and roughly 590 total employees. It has local governance by a board of trustees that includes seven commu- nity members and seven physicians. Lakeview Hos- pital has been recognized by several national organi- zations for excellence. For instance, Truven Health Analytics named it to its list of 100 Top Hospitals this year and the hospital received four awards from Healthgrades. It was also named as a HealthStrong Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics this year. Lawrence (Kan.) Memorial Hospital. Founded in 1921, this 173-bed hospital has earned considerable accolades, including being named a Truven 100 Top Hospital and an iVantage HealthStrong Top Hospi- tal in 2015. Also this year, CareChex ranked Law- rence Memorial Hospital No. 3 in the state of Kansas for overall medical care. This Joint Commission- accredited facility is located in the sixth largest city in the state, roughly 25 miles east of Topeka, Kan., and 40 miles west of Kansas City, Mo. Little Company of Mary Hospital (Evergreen Park, Ill.). Originally built in 1930, Little Com- pany of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers now include 254 beds and employs more than 2,100 individuals. In 2015, Truven Health Analyt- ics recognized the hospital with the Everest Award and named it a 100 Top Hospital for the first time ever. U.S. News & World Report ranked Little Company of Mary among the top 25 hospitals in Illinois and in the Chicago metropolitan area in its 2014-15 rankings and CareChex ranked it No. 16 in overall medical care in the Chicago area.
