Florida International University and Miami Children's Hospital part- nered to open a 36,000-square-foot pediatric outpatient surgery facility on the FIU campus in Miami. Massac Memorial Hospital and the Orthopedic Institute of Western Ken- tucky announced their intention to open an outpatient orthopedic and po- diatric surgery center in Metropolis, Ill. Northstar Healthcare announced the acquisition of ownership interests in an urgent care center and two imaging centers in Houston. Meridian Surgical Partners, LLC is pleased to announce that its Battle Creek, Mich.-based facility, Brookside Surgery Center, LLC, has partnered with Bronson Battle Creek, a subsidiary of Bronson Healthcare. This is the first hospital partnership for Meridian Surgical Partners.
