The partnership adds 26 physicians, four main officers and two satellite locations to OrthoAlliance's network, according to a Nov. 15 news release shared with Becker's. Central Indiana Orthopedics was founded in 1950 and has main locations in Fishers, Anderson, Muncie and Marion. Joint reconstruction and replacement surgeon Shankar Narayanan, MD; spine surgeon Benjamin Valley, MD, and orthopedic surgeon Scott Jolson, MD, joined the practice. All three surgeons earned their medical degrees in Ohio. Dr. Narayanan attened Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Fairborn, Ohio. Dr. Valley graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, and Dr. Jolson recieved his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. n 3 orthopedic groups in Texas, California add price transparency tool By Carly Behm T hree orthopedic groups in Texas and California signed partnerships with HealthMe for its price transparency and direct-pay platform. Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Golden State Orthopedics & Spine, the Fondren Orthopedic Group in Houston and the Newport Orthopedic Group in Newport Beach, Calif. will all use HealthMe's services, according to a Nov. 10 company news release. "As price transparency becomes a key driver in the national healthcare conversation, it's vital that we anticipate changes in the healthcare landscape and reduce the complications of compliance around new federal and state regulations on price transparency," KC Campion, CEO of GSOS said in the release.
