Yang Linda Chen is the new CFO of Hacken- sack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Glen Ridge, N.J. Leslie Davis succeeded Jeffrey Romoff as presi- dent and CEO of Pittsburgh-based UPMC. Devin Tobin was named COO of LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, Va. K.C. DeBoer resigned as CEO of Watertown, S.D.-based Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. Steven Salyer was appointed CEO of Watson- ville (Calif.) Community Hospital. Will Wagnon resigned as CEO of St. John's Health in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Kevin Yingling, MD, was chosen as CEO of Huntington, W. Va.-based Mountain Health Network and president of Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary's Medical Center. Alfred Lumsdaine was named CFO of Ardent Health Services in Nashville, Tenn. Sally Deitch, RN, stepped down as CEO of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare's Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis (Tenn.). Barbara Griffith, MD, president and CEO of Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, La., has accepted the position of president of Duke Health's Duke Raleigh (N.C.) Hospital. Dr. Griffith will leave Woman's Hospital in Sep- tember. Paul Cleckner, the hospital's chief transformation officer, was named interim CEO and will begin his tenure aer Dr. Grif- fith's departure. Mitch Mongell, CEO of Fort Walton (Fla.) Beach Medical Center, will retire in 2021. John Peterman was promoted to COO of Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va. Rick Rawson, president of Roseville, Ca- lif.-based Adventist Health and Marysville, Ca- lif.-based Rideout, will retire Oct. 31. Eugene Suksi was fired as CEO of Bandon, Ore.-based Southern Coos Hospital and Health Center. Allyssa Tobitt was named COO of Reston (Va.) Hospital Center. Doug Watson was chosen as senior vice presi- dent and CFO of West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health. Veronica Schmidt is resigning as CEO of Jen- nie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow, Neb. Mark Studdard was named CEO of Encom- pass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Miss. Scott Teffeteller was chosen as the next CEO of Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network. Chad Grant has been selected as the COO and executive vice president for Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care. Haroula Protopapadakis Norden was named COO of Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health South Florida. Joseph Horton was chosen by Appalachian Re- gional Healthcare as the new regional COO for Cumberland Valley, serving as executive lead- er of operations for Barbourville (Ky.) ARH, Harlan (Ky.) ARH and Middlesboro (Ky.) ARH hospitals. Terika Richardson was named COO of Nash- ville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health Services. Karen Surkala was named COO of AHN Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa. Melissa Campos, CFO of El Paso (Texas) Chil- dren's Hospital, resigned. Jennifer White, the CFO of a state agency that runs the embattled Cranston, R.I.-based Elea- nor Slater Hospital, resigned. Angela Brandt was named president of Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica's senior care division. John Broberg, CEO of Amberwell Hiawatha (Kan.), retired. Ben Coogan was named CEO of Medical City Fort Worth (Texas). Toni Goodin was tapped to serve as CEO of the new Shreveport (La.) Rehabilitation Hospital. LeeAnn Helber was chosen as the new president of OhioHealth O'Bleness Hos- pital in Athens. Jason Kimbrell was named CEO of Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Fla. Edmund Sabanegh Jr., MD, was named president and CEO of Sayre, Pa.-based Guthrie Clinic. Jeff Zewe, BSN, RN, president and CEO of Olean, N.Y.-based Upper Allegheny Health System, resigned. Ruby Kirby, RN, was chosen by West Tennes- see Healthcare in Jackson to be the CEO of Camden (Tenn.) Hospital. Scott Barber was chosen by West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson as the CEO of Dyersburg (Tenn.) Hospital. Alan Watson, CEO of Columbia, Tenn.-based Maury Regional Health, has retired aer helm- ing the health system for nine years. Joann Anderson, RN, the president and CEO of Lumberton, N.C.-based UNC Health South- eastern, will retire at the end of the year. Mary Boosalis, president and CEO of Pre- mier Health, will retire in 2022, the organiza- tion said Aug. 2. Scott Reiner, RN, is leaving as CEO of Ad- ventist Health at the end of the year to create a family foundation focused on global health and well-being, the Roseville, Calif.-based health system said. Jose Fernandez was named senior vice pres- ident of campus operations at St. Jude Chil- dren's Research Hospital, the Memphis, Tenn.-based hospital said. Paul Macek was named interim CEO of Prai- rie Lakes Healthcare System, the Watertown, S.D.-based health system said. Michael Grace, EdD, was named chief ad- ministrative officer of West Virginia Univer- sity Health System, the Morgantown-based organization said. Patti Clausen, BSN, RN, was chosen as senior vice president and area manager of Kaiser Per- manente's Panorama City and Antelope Valley service area in Southern California.
