MB2 adds 300th practice, enters 30th state: Dallas- based MB2 Dental reached two milestones in May. The dental organization added its 300th practice in Provo, Utah, and entered its 30th state with the addition of a practice in Maryland. 2. DSO leader reappointed to Dental Board of California: Rosalinda Olague, senior manager of dental assistant strategy and university relations for Irvine, Calif.-based Pacific Dental Services, was reappointed to the Dental Board of California May 24. 3. USOSM taps 2 dental leaders to join clinical governance board: Irving, Texas-based dental management company U.S. Oral Services Management introduced Gordon Brady, DMD, and Vincent Montgomery, DMD, to its clinical governance board. 4. Massachusetts DSO with 23 practices joins Heartland Dental: Wakefield, Mass.-based American Dental Partners entered a strategic transaction with Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental, creating a combined network of more than 2,300 dentists across 38 states. 5. 42 North Dental names new COO: Waltham, Mass.-based 42 North Dental appointed Johnny Khouri as its new chief operating officer May 13. 6. Aspen Dental Management earns education designation from Academy of General Dentistry: Chicago-based Aspen Dental Management received the "Program Approval for Continuing Education" designation from the Academy of General Dentistry. 7. North American Dental Group taps new COO: Pittsburgh- based North American Dental Group introduced Shawn Blake as its new chief operating officer. 8. Dental365 partners with Pearl to streamline clinical care: New York City-based Dental365 announced May 5 a partnership with Los Angeles-based dental technology company Pearl. 9. Western Dental's new strategy: A global partnership for dental implant expansion: Orange, Calif.-based Western Dental & Orthodontics partnered with dental implant maker Straumann Group to provide its practices with dental implants, abutments and crowns. 10. US Oral Surgery Management enters Florida market: Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management gained its first Florida partner with WestShore OMS Specialists. 11. Mortenson Dental Partners taps chief dental officer: Louisville, Ky.-based Mortenson Dental Partners selected Britt Bostick, DDS, as its chief dental officer. 12. Deca Dental, Align extend agreement through 2025: San Jose, Calif.-based Align Technology announced April 28 it extended its relationship with Dallas-based Deca Dental Group with a new multiyear agreement for the Invisalign system through early 2025. 13. USOSM partners with 1st Mississippi, South Carolina practices: Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management established its first partnerships in Mississippi and South Carolina. 14. Elite Dental Partners taps new director of dental hygiene: Chicago-based Elite Dental Partners selected Trish Keena as its new director of dental hygiene. 15. Guardian Dentistry Partners appoints vice president of finance: Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners introduced Robert Papenbrock as its vice president of finance April 15. 16. Heartland Dental taps new chief marketing officer: Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental added Stacy DeWalt to its executive team as chief marketing officer and executive vice president. 17. Former Walmart senior exec joins Affordable Care board of directors: Morrisville, N.C.-based Affordable Care added Marybeth Hays to its board of directors March 31. 18. Heartland Dental, Envista bolster supply partnership: Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental extended its supply partnership with Envista Holdings with a four-year contract. 19. Association of Dental Support Organizations names executive director: The Association of Dental Support Organizations introduced Andrew Smith as its next executive director March 2. 20. Sage Dental acquires new practices, taps new leadership: Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sage Dental reached 65 practices in February after it acquired six locations in the state and introduced Mark Brockelman as its new senior vice president and CFO. 21. Endo1 Partners closes $115M of debt facilities, allows for accelerated growth: Houston-based Endo1 Partners closed $115 million of debt facilities in March, allowing the company to advance in new and existing markets. 22. Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners taps new CEO: Plymouth Meeting, Pa.-based Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners announced Leigh Feenburg as its new CEO March 16. 23. MB2 Dental sees 117% 2-year revenue growth, makes Inc. 5000's fastest-growing companies in Texas: Carrollton-based MB2 Dental ranked No. 114 out of 250 on Inc. 5000's list of fastest-growing Texas-based private companies in March based on revenue earned between 2017 and 2019. 24. Wisconsin DSO Cherry Tree Dental gets private equity investment: New York City-based ICV Partners announced March 16 it made a majority investment in Madison, Wis.-based Cherry Tree Dental. 25. Aspen Dental opens 1st Colorado practice, others in Texas, Wisconsin: Chicago-based Aspen Dental opened its first practice in Colorado March 11, along with its 22nd practice in Wisconsin and its 45th practice in Texas. 26.
