Mr. Brown has more than 20 years of experience in health IT leadership, working for both academic and community health systems. As vice president and CIO of Mission Health, he oversees the system's IT strategic plan, efforts to optimize EHRs and implement health informatics. He has previous experience as the director of IT security at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Paul Browne. Senior Vice President and CIO of Henry Ford Health System (Detroit). Mr. Browne joined Henry Ford Health System in February 2018 aer spending time as CIO and senior vice president of applied informatics for Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare. He has experience overseeing the information services across Tenet and specializes in transformational change in complex organizations. Mr. Browne also focuses on developing clinical intelligence capabilities across large systems. Jon Burns. Senior Vice President and CIO of University of Maryland Medical System (Baltimore). Mr. Burns is the senior vice president and CIO of University of Maryland Medical System, overseeing the IT services and strategies for the 12-hospital system. He also oversees supply chain strategies, integration and operations. Mr. Burns joined UMMS in May 2006 aer spending time as senior executive of IT at Cleveland Clinic. Bobbie Byrne, MD. CIO of Advocate Aurora Health (Downers Grove, Ill., and Milwaukee). Dr. Byrne has more than 15 years of experience in clinical informatics and 10 years of professional practice experience. She is CIO of 28-hospital Advocate Aurora Health, one of the nation's 10 largest nonprofit, integrated health systems, formed by the merger of Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care and Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care. Before the merger, she was CIO of Advocate. Debbie Cancilla. Vice President and CIO of Atlantic Health System (Morristown, N.J.). Ms. Cancilla has more than 25 years of healthcare CIO experience. She became the CIO of Atlantic Health System in 2017 aer serving as senior vice president and CIO of PinnacleHealth. At Atlantic Health, Ms. Cancilla oversaw the system's EHR installation and spearheaded other health IT efforts CHIME recognized in its 2019 HealthCare's Most Wired report. Suja Chandrasekaran. Chief Information and Digital Officer of CommonSpirit Health (Chicago). Ms. Chandrasekaran was appointed senior executive vice president, chief information and digital officer for CommonSpirit in August 2019. She is responsible for the health system's operational technology strategy and digitizing core processes. She also advances the use of analytics, artificial intelligence and digital tools to improve patient navigation and experience. Prior to joining CommonSpirit, Ms. Chandrasekaran was senior vice president and chief information and digital officer of Kimberly-Clark and chief technology and data officer at Walmart. Kumar Chatani. Executive Vice President and CIO of Mount Sinai Health System and Dean for Information Technology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York City). Mr. Chatani is responsible for the IT at Mount Sinai Health System where he helps the organization stay on the forefront of health technology needs. He previously served as the CIO for the Northwest region of Oakland, Calif.- based Kaiser Permanente, where he was responsible for two hospitals, 40 clinics and pharmacies and health plans covering 500,000 members. Matthew Chambers. CIO of Baylor Scott & White Health (Dallas). Mr. Chambers was named D CEO Healthcare magazine's outstanding CIO of the Year for an enterprise company in 2019. He served as CIO of Scott & White for two years before it merged with Baylor in 2013, when he became CIO of the entire system. He now oversees health IT for more than 48 hospitals, 800 patient care sites and 7,800 physicians. Zafar Chaudry, MD. Senior Vice President and CIO of Seattle Children's. Dr. Chaudry oversees the technology department initiatives as well as information services for Seattle Children's. He has more than 20 years of experience in clinical care and healthcare informatics, previously working in senior IT roles for startups. He also has experience serving on the faculty at City Colleges of Chicago and CIO of Liverpool Women's and Alder Hey Children's Hospital in England. Carl Christensen. Senior Vice President and CIO of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare and CIO of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine (Chicago). Mr. Christianson became CIO of Northwestern Memorial University Feinberg School of Medicine in February 2012 and became the senior vice president and CIO of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare in 2015. He has previously served as CIO and chief technology officer of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic. Richard Daniels. Executive Vice President and CIO of Kaiser Permanente (Oakland, Calif.). Mr. Daniels leads Kaiser Permanente's IT strategy and execution efforts. He joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008 as senior vice president of IT and business information officer of health plan and operations. He has experience developing the strategy for delivering capabilities across the health system and aligning regional and national IT initiatives. He previously served as senior vice president and divisional CIO for Capital One. Randy Davis. CIO and Vice President of Support Services at CGH Medical Center (Sterling, Ill.). Mr. Davis has overseen health IT at CGH Medical Center since November 1996. He is responsible for all technology initiatives at the hospital, which includes a medical staff of 115 physicians and 1,500 employees. Myra Davis. Senior Vice President and CIO of Texas Children's Hospital (Houston). Ms. Davis joined Texas Children's Hospital more than 10 years ago as a director of the hospital's information services department. Ms. Davis has won leadership awards in her current role as senior vice president and CIO of the hospital, including the Transformational Leadership Award in 2013 from CHIME and the American Hospital Association. Under her guidance, Texas Children's Hospital was named one of CHIME's HealthCare›s Most Wired hospitals in 2018. Jake Dorst. Chief Innovation Officer and CIO of Tahoe Forest Health System (Truckee, Calif.). Mr. Dorst oversees the IT department at Tahoe Forest Health System, where he led the system's efforts to unify its disparate EHR systems and provide better coordinated care. He also modernized the health system's infrastructure to improve the network performance across the system's two hospitals and six specialty clinics. Marcy Dunn. Senior Vice President and CIO of Maine Medical Center and MaineHealth (Portland). Ms. Dunn has 30-plus years of healthcare IT and systems management experience, including holding CIO roles with Episcopal Health Services in Uniondale, N.Y., and Catholic Health Services of Long Island in Melville, N.Y. She took on the title of CIO at Maine Medical Center and MaineHealth in 2016, overseeing IT projects such as the health system's shared EHR program. Under her leadership, the 637-bed Maine Medical Center was named one of HealthCare's Most Wired hospitals in 2018. Darren Dworkin. Senior Vice President of Enterprise Information Services and CIO of Cedars-Sinai (Los Angeles). Mr. Dworkin oversees the IT strategy and clinical technology teams at Cedars-Sinai. He oversaw the health system's EHR implementation and helped the system become a national leader in point of care technology. He has previous experience leading digital health companies and helped launch the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator program. He also spent time as chief technology officer at Boston Medical Center.
