Brent Snyder. Executive Vice President and CIO of Adventist Health Sys- tem (Altamonte Springs, Fla.). Mr. Snyder serves as executive vice presi- dent and CIO of Adventist Health System, responsible for the system's data security direction, analytics and IT systems. He also oversees the system's revenue cycle and cost accounting functions. Prior to joining Adventist, Mr. Snyder gained experience as regional CFO of hospitals in Tennessee, Geor- gia, Kentucky and North Carolina, as well as other Adventist hospitals. He is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Subra Sripada. Executive Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer and System CIO of Beaumont Health (Royal Oak, Mich.). Mr. Sripada joined Beaumont Health in 2008 as the associate CIO and advanced to vice president and CIO before being promoted to his current role as executive vice president and CIO. He is responsible for the nonprofit health system's hospital and am- bulatory IT operations, supply chain, project management office and strategic planning. Prior to joining Beaumont, Mr. Sripada was in a leadership role at PricewaterhouseCoopers, consulting on health IT and business strategy. Brian Sterud. CIO of Faith Regional Health Services (Norfolk, Neb.). Mr. Streud became CIO of Faith Regional Health Services in 2012 aer spending time as director of information management at Brookings (S.D.) Health Sys- tem. He also gained experience as a network analyst, remote systems engineer and consultant, and data systems engineer before taking on health IT leader- ship roles. He graduated from CHIME CIO Boot Camp in 2011 and continues to impart his expertise in Faith Regional's 131-bed acute care facility. Joey Sudomir. Senior Vice President of Innovative Technology Solutions and CIO of Texas Health Resources (Arlington). Mr. Sudomir is the senior vice president and CIO for Texas Health Resources, responsible for the sys- tem's IT activities. He joined the health system as vice president of IT opera- tions in 2013 and then became deputy CIO in 2014 before being promoted to his current role. He also has experience as the vice president of IT for Texas Health Partners, where he led IT related clinical transformation efforts for the organization's joint ventures. Mr. Sudomir also has experience managing op- erational ownership for IT at more than 60 hospitals as part of a national chain. Sean C. Tuley. Senior Vice President and CIO of LifePoint Health (Brent- wood, Tenn.). Mr. Tuley has more than 20 years of experience in business and organizational leadership to draw on as senior vice president and CIO of LifePoint Health. Since he joined LifePoint in 2010, the health system has grown to include 71 hospital campuses and physician practices, outpatient centers and post-acute facilities. In his current role, Mr. Tuley is responsible for the health system's IT strategies, and his technology adoption programs have helped a majority of LifePoint hospitals reach HIMSS EMR Adoption Model Stage 6. Mr. Tuley also designed and executed the health system's first long-term strategic plan for IT, which achieved meaningful use compliance. In addition to his leadership at LifePoint, Mr. Tuley serves as a member of the board of directors for the Tennessee HIMSS chapter as well as the advi- sory board for the Heritage Healthcare Innovation Fund and Federation of American Hospitals HIT Task Force. Phyllis Teater. Associate Vice President and CIO of e Ohio State Wexner Medical Center (Columbus). Ms. Teater is the associate vice president and CIO of e Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. She was in a leadership role as the system implemented ambulatory and inpatient EMR and is responsible for making significant technology support enhancements for the system's research IT services and technology education. She is also responsible for working with other departments to leverage technology beneficial to the health system. Brian Tew. Vice President of Professional Services and CIO of Greater Hudson Valley Health System (Middletown, N.Y.). During his time as vice president of professional services and CIO of Greater Hudson Valley Health System, Mr. Tew has overseen systemwide IT communications, professional services and ancillary systems. One of the system's hospitals, Orange Re- gional Medical Center, became the first hospital in New York to achieve both HIMSS Stage 7 and Hospitals & Health Networks' Health Care's Most Wired designation. He has previous experience as vice president of operations and CIO of Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H., where he managed information systems, medical records and security. Tim ompson. Senior Vice President and CIO of BayCare Health Sys- tem (Clearwater, Fla.). Mr. ompson joined BayCare Health System in 2010 aer spending time as senior vice president and CIO of Houston-based Methodist Health System. He also has experience as senior vice president and CIO of Orlando-based Adventist Health System and Columbia, S.C.- based Palmetto Health. As senior vice president and CIO of BayCare Health System, Mr. ompson leads technology planning and operations for the system's information services and clinical engineering operations. Jim Veline. Senior Vice President and CIO of Avera Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.). As the senior vice president and CIO of Avera Health, Mr. Veline is re- sponsible for the health system's IT services, which reach more than 16,000 employees and 900 employed physicians. He was instrumental in develop- ing the health system's telemedicine program, and under his leadership the health system has earned Hospitals & Health Networks' Health Care's Most Wired recognition 16 times. Prior to joining Avera, he spent nine years at Nebraska Methodist Health System and 13 years at Nebraska Health System, both based in Omaha. Joel Vengco. Vice President and CIO of Baystate Health (Springfield, Mass.). Mr. Vengco joined Baystate Health in 2012 as senior vice president of informatics and technology and CIO. He oversees the health system's tech- nology vision, strategy and operations, bringing a focus on information in- tegration to his work. He has modernized the health system's data center and infrastructure as well as established new platforms for patient engagement and improved system performance and security. In addition to his current role, Mr. Vengco is the CIO for the Pioneer Valley Accountable Care Organi- zation, the ACO for western Massachusetts. John Ward. Senior Vice President and CIO of TriHealth (Cincinnati). TriHealth named Mr. Ward CIO in 2015, responsible for leading corporate strategy for information services. As senior vice president and CIO of the system, Mr. Ward oversees IT for around 130 sites of care and 11,500 em- ployees. He served as interim CIO for six months before his promotion, overseeing the integration of Oxford, Ohio-based McCullough-Hyde Me- morial Hospital with TriHealth. He has previous experience as the CIO and director of business development for Group Health Associates. David Weiss. Senior Vice President and CIO of BJC HealthCare (St. Lou- is). Mr. Weiss is responsible for planning, developing and supporting IT initiatives as well as telecommunications for BJC HealthCare as senior vice president and CIO. He joined BJC in 1990 and in his current role oversees a $200 million annual capital and operating budget as well as a staff of 800 pro- fessionals. He also co-leads the health system's Best-In-Class Clinical Quali- ty Initiatives and is chairman of Telecommunication Facilities Corporation, a joint venture between BJC HealthCare and St. Louis-based Washington University School of Medicine focused on providing voice communication services across the Washington University Medical Center campus. Deanna Wise. Executive Vice President and CIO of Dignity Health (San Francisco). As the executive vice president and CIO of Dignity Health, Ms. Wise is responsible for the 39-hospital system's IT functions, spanning 60,000 caregivers. She has a particular focus on implementing Dignity's EHR and leads efforts to meet meaningful use standards. Ms. Wise also oversees efforts to build electronic bridges between Dignity's facilities and community physicians. Eric Yablonka. CIO of Stanford (Calif.) Health Care. Mr. Yablonka spent 16 years with the University of Chicago before joining Stanford Health Care as CIO in 2017. His background includes implementing technology strate- gies to align with academic medical center strategy, as well as transforming healthcare organization operations. Over the next year, Mr. Yablonka will serve at the helm as the health system integrates ValleyCare with Epic and examines new technology investments.
