Here are five things to know: 1. Mr. Ryan joined Regent in 2016 as vice presi- dent of operations for the northeast. He arrived with more than 25 years of experience working with physician partnerships in multisite health- care facilities and managing joint venture ASC partnerships. 2. As COO, Mr. Ryan will oversee Regent operations in the U.S. and abroad for the com- pany's 25 partner centers, which includes 18 joint venture centers and multiple ASCs under development. He'll bring clinical and business expertise to his new role, elevating Regent's operating model to serve partnering facilities through changing market conditions. "e transition to value-based care is evolving rapidly, making a strong ambulatory platform an increasingly powerful strategy for health systems nationwide," said Mr. Ryan. Health is opening a new $20 million clinic, according to Bozeman Daily Chronicle. Here are five key points: 1. Bozeman is building a new ASC within the clinic. 2. The surgery center is replacing the health system's Bozeman (Mont.) Health Same Day Surgery Center. 3. The clinic will also include urgent care, physician offices as well as family and pediatric clinics. 4. The project is a partnership between the health system, United Surgical Partners International and local physicians. 5. Bozeman Health aims to open the clinic in 2019. n 4 Recent ASC Acquisitions, Partnerships By Eric Oliver Here are four recent ASC acquisitions and partnerships announced. Physicians Realty Trust purchased a medical office building in Cool Springs, Tenn., with an ASC for $10 million. Anchor Health Properties acquired Norwalk, Conn.-based Cross Street Medical Center, which includes an ASC, for $23 million from Marcus Part- ners. Phoenix-based The CORE Institute partnered with Arizona's largest health system, Banner Health, on a new orthopedic-driven ASC, Banner CORE Union Hills Surgery Center, also in Phoenix. Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II acquired a medical campus in Silverdale, Wash., with two surgery centers for $9.6 million. Compass Surgical Partners teamed up with Stuart, Fla.-based Martin Health System and local physicians to open Port Lucie, Fla.-based Tradi- tion Surgery Center. Bozeman (Mont.) Health is opening a new $20 million clinic through a partnership with United Surgical Partners International. United Surgical Partners International entered into a partnership with Santa Barbara (Calif.) Surgery Center. Carle and Christie Clinic physicians broke ground on a new joint venture surgery center in Champaign, Ill. Both groups are based in Champaign. Parker, Colo.-based InSight Vision Group purchased Lone Tree, Colo.- based Renewal Surgery Center. Coral Gables-based Baptist Health South Florida acquired a majority in- terest in Boca Raton, Fla.-based South Palm Ambulatory Surgery Center. n
