Hospital. e independent, nonprofit Holland Hos- pital opened in 1917 and now includes 375 physicians and 2,000 em- ployees. Healthgrades and Truven Health Analytics named the 189-bed hospital among the Top 100 Hospitals in the nation in 2017 for the 12th time. Holland Hospital reports an average of 42,400 emergency room visits and 421,500 outpatient visits per year. Holy Family Memorial (Manitowoc, Wis.). Opened in 1899, Holy Family Memorial employs more than 1,100 healthcare professionals. e network includes more than 15 clinics, retail pharmacies, a wellness center and a rehabilitation facility. iVantage Health Analytics honored HFM among the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the nation in 2017. U.S. News & World Report named the hospital No. 9 in Houston for 2016- 17. e American Nurses Credentialing Center gave Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital Pathway to Excellence Designation. Howard Young Medical Center (Woodruff, Wis.). Howard Young Medical Center, a member of St. Louis-based Ascension, opened in 1977. e acute care hospital houses 99 beds and began the first phase of a new renovation project in April to remodel and improve its out- patient therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, wound therapy and emergency departments. HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese (Ill.). An affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese opened more than 100 year ago. In 1875, 20 Hospital Sisters of the ird Order of St. Francis traveled from Germany to Illinois to provide care for the sick and poor, which eventually grew into the Hospital Sisters Health System. In 2015, Truven Health Analytics named HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Breese to its Top 100 Hospitals list and this year Practice Greenhealth honored the hospital with the 2017 Partner for Change Award. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital (Fairfax, Va.). Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is a 182-bed acute care facility specializing in spine, weight loss, joint replacement and minimally invasive surgery. In 2014, the hospital received e Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for stroke care, spine surgery and hip and knee replacement surgery. Kalispell (Mont.) Regional Medical Center. More than 400 physicians and 3,400 employees treat patients at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, which opened in 1896. e National Rural Health Association named Kalispell Regional on the Top 20 Rural Community Hospital list in 2017. Last year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development Dis- tance Learning and Telemedicine Program awarded Kalispell Regional Medical Center a grant to provide reliable telecommunications connec- tivity. e $373,658 grant spanned four hospitals in the state. Lake Region Healthcare (Fergus Falls, Minn.). Lake Region Health- care came to fruition with the 1951 merger of St. Luke's Hospital, opened in 1903, and Wright Memorial Hospital, opened in 1906. e hospital has an 80-member medical staff and 900 employees. Lake Regional is a recipient of e Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilita- tion's cardiac rehabilitation national certification. Lakeview Hospital (Bountiful, Utah). e 128-bed Lakeview Hospi- tal has 226 physicians on staff and 597 employees. e hospital, which opened in 1976 to accommodate a neighboring hospital's overflowing volume, now offers care in more than 25 specialties. Truven Health Ana- lytics honored the hospital among the nation's 100 Top Hospitals for the seventh time in 2017. Additionally, Healthgrades has named the hospital to America's 100 Best Hospitals in joint replacement and orthopedic sur- gery for five consecutive years, 2013 to 2107. Lakeview Medical Center (Rice Lake, Wis.). Lakeview Medical Center opened in 1978. Today, 67 physicians offer care in 22 specialties at the 40-bed medical center.
