CEO of Columbia Memorial Hospital (Astoria, Ore.). Aer serving as the hospital's CFO and then COO, Mr. orsen took over as CEO in 2010. e 25-bed nonprofit critical access hospital is about 100 miles northwest of Portland, Ore. Mr. orsen received his master of business administration degree in healthcare administration from Marylhurst University in Portland. He is a licensed Certified Pub- lic Accountant in Washington. Russell Tippin. CEO of Permian Regional Medical Center (Andrews, Texas). Mr. Tippin serves as CEO of Permian Regional Medical Center, approximately 300 miles northwest of El Paso. Under Mr. Tippin's ten- ure, the medical center opened a new hospital in August 2016, part of a $59.6 million project. e medical center also opened a wellness and fitness center and physician clinic in 2015. Joanne Urbanski, MSN, BSN. President and CEO of South Haven (Mich.) Health System. Ms. Urbanski has been president and CEO of South Haven Health for the past decade, before which she was COO of the hospital. e hospital is 40 miles west of Kalamazoo, Mich., and less than 2 miles from the waters of Lake Michigan. In her current role, Ms. Urbanski oversaw fund- raising for a new wellness and rehabilitation center and headed the establish- ment of the SHHS Foundation. Ms. Urbanski earned her master of science in nursing degree from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. Terri Vieira. President and CEO of Sebasticook Valley Health (Pittsfield, Maine). Aer serving as acting CEO since April 2013, Ms. Vieira became CEO of Sebasticook Valley Health in July 2013. She was previously vice pres- ident of operations at the 25-bed critical access hospital, located about 43 miles north of Augusta, Maine . Ms. Vieira previously spent time as director of diagnostic services at Central Maine Healthcare in Lewiston. Louis Ward. CEO of Mayers Memorial Hospital District (Fall River Mills, Calif.). Mr. Ward became CEO of Mayers Memorial in November 2015 aer spending time as the interim CEO, COO and director of support services. e critical access hospitals sits about 200 miles north of Sacramento, Calif. Mr. Ward holds a master of science in healthcare administration and inter- professional leadership from University of California, San Francisco. Pete Weber, RN. President and CEO of Gordon Hospital (Calhoun, Ga.). Mr. Weber began his time at Gordon Hospital in May 2009 af- ter leaving his post as president and CEO of Texas Health Huguley in Burleson. A registered nurse, Mr. Weber was previously director of spe- cial services, vice president of ancillary and support services, senior vice president and chief clinical officer at Texas Health Huguley. During his tenure at Gordon, Mr. Weber oversaw a system-wide clinical informa- tion system implementation and the construction of a new surgery cen- ter. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Weber also served as president and CEO of Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos. Randy Wertz. CEO of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (Clin- ton, Mo.). Mr. Wertz will retire in July 2017 aer spending 28 years at the helm of Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. Under his leadership, GVMH expanded from a 375-employee hospital to a healthcare organi- zation with 800 employees, a 56-bed hospital, home health service and physician and outpatient health clinics. e organization is about 200 miles west of St. Louis. In 2000, Mr. Wertz won the Missouri Hospital Association's Visionary Leadership Award. He was previously chairman of the Missouri Hospital Association's board of trustees. Warren West, MBA. CEO of Littleton (N.H.) Regional Healthcare. Mr. West has more than 30 years of healthcare and management experience, and he began his tenure as CEO of a 25-bed, critical access hospital in the White Mountains in 2007. Before then, he was president and CEO of Copley Health Systems in Morrisville, Vt. Mr. West earned his MBA degree in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. He is a fellow of the Ameri- can College of Healthcare Executives. Bernard Wheatley, DBA. CEO of Schneider Regional Medical Center (St. omas, U.S. Virgin Islands). Since April 2013, Mr. Wheatley has been CEO of the umbrella entity for three facilities: Roy Lester Schneider Hospital in St. omas; Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Cen- ter in St. John; and Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute in St. om- as. With more than two decades of healthcare management experience, Mr. Wheatley has held positions at academic and community medical centers over the course of his career. He earned his doctor of business administration degree from North Central University in Prescott Valley, Ariz., and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Mike Wiltermood. CEO of Enloe Medical Center (Chico, Calif.). Mr. Wiltermood has more than 25 years of experience in hospital leadership. Before taking over as CEO of Enloe Medical Center in July 2009, Mr. Wil- termood was the 298-bed nonprofit hospital's interim CEO and COO. En- loe Medical Center is a Level II trauma center north of Sacramento, Calif. Mr. Wiltermood previously served as CEO of Coulee Community Hospi- tal in Grand Coulee, Wash. He earned his master of science in healthcare administration degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Gerald Worrick. President and CEO of Ministry Door County Medical Center (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.). Mr. Worrick has overseen Ministry Door County Medical Center for more than 28 years. The 25-bed acute care hospital and outpatient medical center is about 50 miles northeast of Green Bay, Wis. Prior to this position, Mr. Wor- rick held various roles at hospitals in Chicago and Eau Claire, Wis. Mr. Worrick earned a master's degree in hospital and healthcare ad- ministration from Saint Louis University. Michael Zimmerman, MBA. CEO of Sierra Vista Hospital (Truth or Consequences, N.M.). Mr. Zimmerman has led Sierra Vista Hospital since April 2014. e 15-bed critical access sits about 150 miles south- west of Albuquerque, N.M., and is community operated. During his ten- ure, Mr. Zimmerman oversaw the establishment of family practice and dispensing psychologist residency programs as well as the renovation of an emergency department, operating suites and ICU. n athenahealth® partners with hospital and ambulatory clients to drive clinical and financial results.
