East Stroudsburg, Pa.-based Pocono Health System became part of Allen- town, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network. West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Rennova Health inked an agreement to acquire Hospital & Health System Executive Moves La Paz Regional Hospital in Parker, Ariz., named Kevin Brown CEO. Greensboro, N.C.-based Women's Hospital President Cindy Farrand, MBA, will become the new president of Reidsville, N.C.-based An- nie Penn Hospital, while Annie Penn Hospital President Debbie Green Cunningham, DNP, MSN, RN, will become the new president of Women's Hospital. LaGrangeville, N.Y.-based Health Quest tapped current President Robert Friedberg to also serve as CEO. St. Louis-based Ascension Healthcare CEO Robert J. Henkel is retiring, effective June 30, ending a five-year stint as leader. Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health named Jacqueline Medland, PhD, RN, president and CNO of Highlands-Cashiers Hospital in Frank- lin, N.C. Nacogdoches (Texas) Memorial Health CEO Scott Street resigned. Norman (Okla.) Regional Health System named John Manfredo COO. Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, Idaho, se- lected Michael Patmas, MD, as its new CMO. Marlton, N.J.-based Virtua Health System CEO Richard P. Miller plans to retire at the end of 2017, ending a 21-year stint as the organiza- tion's leader. Chicago-based Presence Health appointed Yolande Wilson, RN, president of Presence Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Ill. Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Net- work selected Brent Parsons to serve as perma- nent CEO of Bluon (Ind.) Regional Medical Center. Potsdam, N.Y.-based St. Lawrence Health Sys- tem named David Bender CEO of Gouverneur (N.Y.) Hospital. Syracuse, N.Y.-based Upstate University Hospi- tal CEO John McCabe, MD, is leaving his post to "pursue professional and personal interests." Cleveland-based Sisters of Charity Health Sys- tem tapped omas J. Strauss to serve as its new president and CEO. Olympia, Wash.-based Capital Medical Center CEO Jim Geist is leaving his post aer seven years. Middletown, Ohio-based Atrium Medical Cen- ter's president Carol Turner retired at the end of 2016. Lewiston-based Central Maine Medical Cen- ter's President Tina Legere and Vice President of Nursing and CNO Sharron Chalke, RN, MSN, resigned. Medical City Arlington (Texas) announced CEO Winston Borland will retire effective March 31. Springfield, Ore.-based PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend COO Shannon Surbur is leaving her post, effective Feb. 3. Port Huron, Mich.-based Lake Huron Medical Center CEO Rebekah Smith, RN, is retiring in spring 2017. Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif., named Michael Wall president and CEO. San Antonio-based Christus Santa Rosa Health System announced the resignation of President and CEO Ken Haynes. Teri Lux, vice president of patient care services and CNO of Milwaukee-based Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin's community hospital division, will be promoted to president of Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based Community Memorial Hospital and COO of the communi- ty hospital division. Minneapolis and St. Paul-based Children's Hos- pitals and Clinics of Minnesota named Marc Gorelick, MD, president and COO, effective March 20. Mercy Health-Cincinnati appointed Kenneth James president of Clermont Hospital in Bat- avia, Ohio.
