CIO of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Memphis, Tenn.). Mr. Perry took on the role of CIO of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in August 2015. He came to St. Jude Children's from the Uni- versity of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he was associate vice president and deputy CIO. Mr. Perry is a CHIME certified healthcare CIO. Cindy Peterson. Vice President and CIO of Henry Mayo Newhall Me- morial Hospital (Valencia, Calif.). For the last 15 years, Ms. Peterson has led IT staff and services as CIO of Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hos- pital. She was previously regional CIO of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health. She has more than 25 years of experience in the health IT field. Audrius Polikaitis, PhD. Assistant Vice President of Health Informa- tion Technology and CIO of University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System (Chicago). Since 2011, Dr. Polikaitis has been assis- tant vice president of health IT and CIO of the health system. In 2016, Hospitals & Health Networks named UI Health a Most Wired healthcare organization. He earned his PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which is based on Chicago. Marc Probst. CIO of Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City). Mr. Probst has 32 years of experience in IT and healthcare services and has served on the Federal Healthcare Information Technology Policy Com- mittee, which helped the government develop health IT policy. He has previously been a partner at New York City-based Deloitte Consulting as well as London-based Ernst & Young. He is a CHIME board member. Shafiq Rab, MD. CIO of Rush University Medical Center (Chicago). Dr. Rab took on the role of Rush's CIO on Jan. 9. He was previously CIO and senior vice president of information technology at Hacken- sack (N.J.) University Health Network. In addition, he has also been CIO of Middletown, N.Y.-based Greater Hudson Valley Health Sys- tem; Passaic, N.J.-based St. Mary's Hospital and Belle Mead, N.J.-based East Mountain Hospital. He is a CHIME certified healthcare CIO and a trained internist. Jayashree Raman. Vice President and CIO of Cooper University Health Care (Camden, N.J.). Ms. Raman has been in her current roles since 2012, when she joined Cooper University Health Care aer serv- ing as vice president of healthcare strategy and CIO of Waltham, Mass.- based Stanley Healthcare Solutions. She was previously vice president and CIO of Reading (Pa.) Hospital and Medical Center. David Rapp. Vice President of Supply Chain and CIO of Wheeling (W.Va.) Hospital. Mr. Rapp was named CIO and vice president of sup- ply chain for the hospital in 2006. Prior to his current role, he was di- rector of the global technology services group at Fairmont, W.Va.-based High Technology Foundation. He is a HIMSS member and has previ- ously served on its innovation committee. Stephanie Reel. Vice Provost for IT and CIO of Johns Hopkins Uni- versity and Vice President for Information Services of Johns Hopkins Medicine (Baltimore). In 1994, Ms. Reel became Johns Hopkins Med- icine's vice president for information services. In January 1999, Johns Hopkins University named her vice provost for information technology and CIO. She received the CHIME-HIMSS John E. Gall Jr. CIO of the Year Award in 2000. Ms. Reel, who is a member of CHIME and HIMSS, holds an MBA from Baltimore-based Loyola University Maryland. Craig Richardville. Senior Vice President and Chief Information and Analytics Officer of Carolinas HealthCare System (Charlotte, N.C.). Mr. Richardville joined the health system in 1997, before which he served in numerous administrative roles, including vice president of information systems, at Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica. He is a HIMSS fellow and a board chair for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte College of Computing and Informatics. Ed Ricks. Vice President of Information Services and CIO of Beau- fort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital. Prior to his current position at Beaufort, Mr. Ricks was CIO of Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, N.Y. He is a member of HIMSS and CHIME, and he earned a master's in health administration from Chapel Hill-based University of North Carolina. In 2012, Hospitals & Health Networks named the hospital one of the na- tion's Most Wired-Small and Rural hospitals. Bert Robles. Executive Vice President and CIO of Guthrie (Sayre, Pa.). Guthrie named Mr. Robles executive vice president and CIO in June 2015. His previous roles include senior vice president and corpo- rate CIO of NYC Health + Hospitals and CIO of the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, both based in New York City. He is a member of CHIME and HIMSS. Cris Ross. CIO of Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn.). Mr. Ross has been CIO of Mayo Clinic since 2012, prior to which he was the exec- utive vice president and general manager for clinical interoperabil- ity at Surescripts, a health information network based in Arlington, Va., Minneapolis and Beaverton, Ohio. Previously, he was executive vice president of product and information services and CIO of CVS MinuteClinic. Robin Sarkar, PhD. CIO of Lakeland Health (St. Joseph, Minn.). Dr. Sarkar became CIO of Lakeland Health in May 2015. Prior to his current role, Dr. Sarkar was associate CIO and director of information technolo- gy for Lakeland Health. He is a member of the CHIME's 2017 education scholarship committee. Katherine Schneider, MD. President and CEO of Delaware Valley Accountable Care Organization (Villanova, Pa.). Dr. Schneider was named CEO of Delaware Valley ACO in 2014, prior to which she was executive vice president and CMO of Wayne, Pa.-based Medecision. She was previously senior vice president of health engagement at Atlantic City, N.J.-based AtlantiCare. DV-ACO, a Medicare ACO, includes more than 400 primary care physicians. Rick Schooler. Vice President and CIO of Orlando (Fla.) Health. Since 2001, Mr. Schooler has been vice president and CIO of Orlan- do Health. He was previously vice president and CIO of Macon-based Central Georgia Health System, now known as Navicent Health. He is a CHIME certified CIO and has won several awards during his career, including the CHIME-HIMSS John E. Gall Jr. CIO of the Year Award, which he won in 2011. Manish Shah. Senior Vice President and CIO of Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.). Mr. Shah joined CHS in 2013 as deputy CIO, prior to which he was senior vice president at Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care. He has previously held information technology leadership positions at SymphonyIRI and Caremark Rx. He holds a master's degree in information technology from Roosevelt University in Chicago. William Showalter. Senior Vice President and CIO of Froedtert Health (Milwaukee). Mr. Showalter has been in his current roles since June 2015. Prior to joining Froedtert Health, he was senior vice pres- ident of information technology at Wellmont Health System in King- sport, Tenn., and vice president and CIO of Mercy Health in St. Louis. He earned a graduate certificate in information systems management from University of Pittsburgh. Preston Simons. CIO of Aurora Health Care (Milwaukee).
