Who is Foundation HealthCare?
Foundation HealthCare is an organization that owns and operates
surgically focused hospitals that facilitate and enhance the surgical
experience and outcomes for Surgeons and their patients.
Becoming a public company in 2013 strengthened Foundation HealthCare's
ability to continue its growth strategy. This strategy includes acquiring
surgical hospitals while developing ambulatory surgical centers and
other ancillary service lines under them. Foundation HealthCare
also focuses on growth opportunities within its existing facilities.
Founded in 1996 by its current Chairman, Tom Michaud,
Foundation HealthCare owns and operates three surgical
hospitals and twelve surgery centers in seven states.
