11 Michael Donlin. Administrator of Floyd Val- ley Hospital (Le Mars, Iowa). A native of St. Cloud, Minn., Mr. Donlin enlisted in the Navy as hospital corpsman in 1975. Mr. Donlin served in an administrative capacity at a series of military hospitals prior to joining Floyd Val- ley Hospital in 1998. Under Mr. Donlin's lead- ership, FVH implemented a $27 million expan- sion project for new surgical facilities and an integrated medical clinic. Mr. Donlin earned a master's degree in health administration from the U.S. Army-Baylor University program. Mike Dowdy. CEO of Central Montana Med- ical Center (Lewiston). Central Montana Medical Center appointed Mr. Dowdy as CEO in June 2015. Prior to his current position, Mr. Dowdy served as president of strategy and busi- ness development for both St. Vincent Health- care in Billings and Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City. Mr. Dowdy has administrative ex- perience in a broad of healthcare settings, in- cluding for-profit and nonprofit facilities, large regional health systems and small, communi- ty-based environments. He holds a master's of science degree in administration. Toby Freier. President of New Ulm (Minn.) Medical Center. Mr. Freier has more than 13 years of experience as a rural healthcare exec- utive. During his time as president of NUMC, the hospital received the Nova Award from the American Hospital Association, the In- novation of the Year and Community Health Improvement Award from the Minnesota Hos- pital Association and earned recognition as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics five times. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. David Frum. President and CEO of Bridgton (Maine) Hospital and Rumford (Maine) Hos- pital. Mr. Frum has more than 20 years of expe- rience in healthcare, a period during which he has held various leadership roles at both large and rural hospital organizations. Prior to his current role as CEO of Bridgton and Rumford (Maine) Hospital, Mr. Frum worked in admin- istrative capacities at Saint Catherine Regional Hospital of Charleston, Ind., was regional vice president at CHRISTUS Spohn Health Sys- tem in Corpus Christi, Texas, vice president at Baptis Health in Louisville, Ken., and vice president at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga. He earned his master's of science degree in healthcare administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Marian Furlong, RN. President and CEO of Hudson (Wis.) Hospital & Clinics. Ms. Fur- long is a decorated healthcare executive with more than three decades of healthcare manage- ment experience. Since joining Hudson Hospi- tal as president and CEO in 1999, Ms. Furlong has overseen the planning and construction of a new health campus, transitioned Hudson Hospital to become wholly owned by Bloom- ington, Minn.-based HealthPartners and, at one point, helped increase Hudson's operating income by 450 percent. Prior to Hudson Hos- pital, Ms. Furlong served in various capacities at large health systems in three competitive markets: Minneapolis, San Diego and Des Moines, Iowa. Martin W. Guthmiller. CEO of Orange City (Iowa) Area Health System. Mr. Guthemiller has been CEO of Orange City Area Health Sys- tem since 1994 and has dedicated more than 30 years to service in the healthcare industry. Prior to his current role, Mr. Guthmiller prac- ticed as CFO of Sanford Sheldon (Iowa) for four years. He began his professional career as a certified public accountant and has since earned a mas- ter's degree in healthcare administration and management from the University of Colorado at Denver. Hank Hanigan. CEO of Whitman Hospital and Medical Center (Colfax, Wash.). Mr. Hanigan le his post as COO of Whidbey Gen- eral Hospital in Coupeville, Wash., to serve as Whitman Hospital CEO in October 2014. Mr. Hanigan is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and an active mem- ber of Washington State Hospital Association, where he serves on the Public Policy, Rural Hospital and Critical Access Hospital Network committees. Under his leadership, Whitman earned a five star rating for patient satisfaction on CMS' Hospital Compare list in 2016. Tim Herrmann. Chief Administrative Officer of PeaceHealth Cottage Grove (Ore.) Com- munity Medical Center. Mr. Herrmann joined PeaceHealth in 1986 as the trauma program coordinator at Sacred Heart Medical Facility in Spokane, Wash. He has served in numerous capacities within the Vancouver, Wash.-based system, and currently works at Cottage Grove Community Medical Center as chief adminis- trative officer. He earned an MBA from North- west Christian University in Eugene, Ore. Jeanie Gentry. CEO of Steele Memorial Med- ical Center (Salmon, Idaho). Jeanie Gentry joined Steele Memorial Medical Center in April 2016, prior to which she served as CEO of two Bend, Ore.-based St. Charles Health System hospitals in Madras and Prineville, Ore., for five years. During her tenure with St. Charles, she implemented population health initiatives and large-scale construction proj- ects. Ms. Gentry also served as vice president of Allied Health with St. John's Lutheran Hos- pital in Libby Montana for 13 years, where she oversaw lab, imaging, rehab, pharmacy, IT, hu- man resources and marketing departments. Dale Hustedt. CEO of Avera Holy Family Hospital (Estherville, Iowa). Mr. Hustedt was named hospital administrator of Avera Holy Family Hospital in 2014, prior to which he served 18 years as chief administrative officer of Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, Minn., a 100-bed, city-owned hospital in southwestern Minnesota. He earned a master's degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Mr. Hustedt is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Barry Jacobsen. CEO of Myrtue Medical Center (Harlan, Iowa). Mr. Jacobsen was ap- pointed CEO of Myrtue Medical Center in 2009 aer dedicating more than a decade to the Harlan-based institution. Prior to his current role as hospital CEO, he served as Myrtue's CFO for 11 years. e Shelby County, Iowa, native earned his bachelor's degree from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. M. Steven Jones. President of University Hos- pitals Geneva (Ohio) Medical Center. Mr. Jones currently serves as president for three University Hospitals facilities in Ohio: UH Geneva Medical Center, UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon and UH Conneaut (Ohio) Medical Center. Mr. Jones joined the UH sys- tem in 2006 as vice president and COO of UH Geauga Medical Center, where he was named president in 2010. All three hospitals have earned national recognition for care quality and patient satisfaction under his leadership. Ben Koppelman. President of CHI St. Jo- seph's Health (Park Rapids, Minn.). Mr. Kop- pelman joined CHI St. Joseph's Health as CEO in 2007. e effect of his leadership is evident in the advancements St. Joseph has accomplished under his tenure: e hospital implemented a multi-million dollar expansion, enhanced patient and employee experience and became one of the first critical access hospitals in Min- nesota to develop a hospitalist program. Prior to joining St. Joseph's, Mr. Koppelman served as administrator of Albany (Minn.) Area Hos- pital and Medical Center, also part of Catholic Health Initiatives of Englewood, Colo. Catherin Landis, RN. President and CNO of Transylvania Regional Hospital (Brevard, N.C.). Ms. Landis was named president and CNO of Transylvania Regional Hospital in Au- gust 2014. She has more than 25 years of expe- rience leading patient services and cardiac pro- grams at healthcare organizations across the southeastern U.S. Ms. Landis served as CNO of East Cooper Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and held leadership positions at Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Mt. Pleasant, Bon Secours Health System in Baltimore and New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C. Victor Lee. President and CEO of Boone County Health Center (Albion, Neb.). Mr. Lee has served as president and CEO of Boone County Health Center since June 2000. Mr. Lee
