This 404-bed acute care facility, part of Irving, Texas-based Christus Health, was named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals by Truven for the sixth time in 2016. In 2015 and 2016, the hospital received the Patient Safety Excellence Award and America's 50 Best Hospitals for Vascular Surgery Award from Healthgrades. Clermont Hospital (Batavia, Ohio). Established in 1973, Clermont Hospital features one of the Cincinnati region's newest and largest intensive care units, one of the Cincinnati region's first dedicated wound care centers, 24/7 emergency care and inpatient/outpatient surgery. The hospital was named as a Truven 100 Top Hospital in 2016. This year, Healthgrades also gave the hospital its Pulmonary Care Excellence and Outstanding Patient Experience awards. Delray Medical Center (Delray Beach, Fla.). This 493-bed acute care hospital has served the communities of South Palm Beach County for more than three decades. The hospital has 1,600 employees, 600 physicians and numerous community volunteers. Healthgrades named Delray Medical Center among the nation's 50 best hospitals in 2014 to 2016. Dickinson Memorial Hospital (Iron Mountain, Mich.). Dickinson Memorial Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital and part of Dickinson County Healthcare System. As of this year, the hospital is part of the National Rural ACO 11, a CMS Shared Savings ACO. The hospital was named an iVantage Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital in 2016. This year, the hospital also received numerous awards from Healthgrades, including awards for excellence in patient safety, gastrointestinal care and pulmonary care. Edward Hospital (Naperville, Ill.). Edward Hospital is part of Edward-Elmhurst Health, one of the larger integrated health systems in Illinois. In 1991, Edward Hospital was the first in Illinois to offer all private rooms. The hospital was named a Truven 100 Top Hospital in 2016. This year, Healthgrades also named Edward Hospital among the nation's 100 best hospitals for cardiac care and coronary intervention. El Camino Hospital (Mountain View, Calif.). This 300-bed, Magnet-recognized hospital serves the Silicon Valley. In 2016, Truven recognized El Camino Hospital as a 100 Top Hospital. El Camino Hospital also received numerous awards from Healthgrades this year, for excellence in cranial neurosurgery, neurosciences, pulmonary care and stroke care. EvergreenHealth Kirkland (Wash.). The EvergreenHealth Kirkland campus includes a 318-bed medical center and four medical specialty buildings. In 2016, Truven named EvergreenHealth Kirkland as one of its 100 Top Hospitals. Healthgrades this year named it among the nation's top hospitals for critical care, gastrointestinal care, general surgery, pulmonary care and stroke care. Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital. Fairfield Hospital, part of Cincinnati-based Mercy Health, has served residents of Butler County and northern Cincinnati for more than three decades. Last year, iVantage named Fairfield a HealthStrong Top 100 Hospital. In 2016, Healthgrades named the hospital among the 100 best in the nation for cardiac care, gastrointestinal care, general surgery and pulmonary care. Fairview Northland Medical Center (Princeton, Minn.). Fairview Northland Medical Center, part of Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Services, is home to an emergency department that treats more than 17,000 people annually. The hospital has received various recognitions, including being named as a Truven 100 Top Hospital in 2016. Healthgrades also recognized the hospital with its Outstanding Patient Experience Award annually from 2014 to 2016. FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital (Pinehurst, N.C.). This 387-bed hospital, the flagship facility for FirstHealth of the Carolinas, serves as the referral center for a 15-county region in North Carolina and South Carolina. Moore Regional opened in 1929. Today it includes an active medical staff of 249 physicians, a professional staff of more than 2,700 and an average of 750 volunteers. The hospital was named as a Truven 100 Top Hospital in 2016. Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center (Daytona Beach, Fla.). Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center comprises two campuses: a 277-bed main hospital in Daytona Beach, Fla., and a 119-bed hospital in Ormond Beach, Fla., as well as a new outpatient facility at the Pavilion at Port Orange (Fla.). The medical center employs more than 1,700 people. In 2016, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center was named as a Truven 100 Top Hospital, and Healthgrades named the medical center among the nation's 50 best hospitals for vascular surgery. Fort Madison (Iowa) Community Hospital. Sacred Heart Hospital, operated by the Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis for 65 years, became Fort Madison Community Hospital in 1977 when the building and equipment were sold for 1 to a nonprofit board of directors. Fort Madison Community Hospital includes 27-physician Fort Madison Physicians & Surgeons Clinics, private in-patient rooms, an expanded surgery center, wound center and an outpatient rehabilitation services center. This year, Fort Madison Community Hospital was named an iVantage Top 100 Rural & Community Hospital. The hospital also received awards in 2016 for patient safety excellence and outstanding patient experience from Healthgrades. Franciscan St. Francis Health-Indianapolis. Franciscan St. Francis Health, one of the largest health systems in Indiana, houses various treatment centers, including a heart center, joint and spine center and weight loss center. Its Indianapolis hospital campus opened in 1995 and includes the only full-service cardiac and vascular care program on the city's south side. This year, the system was recognized as a Truven 100 Top Hospital and distinguished among the nation's 100 best hospitals by Healthgrades. Franklin Woods Community Hospital (Johnson City, Tenn.). The 80-bed Franklin Woods Community Hospital opened in 2010 to replace two hospitals that closed that same year and provide healthcare for Johnson City and the surrounding Northeast Tennessee area. Truven recognized Franklin Woods Community Hospital as a 100 Top Hospital in 2016. The facility, part of Johnson City, Tenn.- based Mountain States Health Alliance, was also named among the 100 best hospitals for pulmonary care from 2014 to 2016 by Healthgrades. French Hospital Medical Center (San Luis Obispo, Calif.). French Hospital Medical Center, part of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, is a 112-bed nonprofit facility. The hospital is particularly known for its cardiac, obstetrics and emergency services. In 2016, French Hospital Medical Center was named as a Truven 100 Top Hospital and received Healthgrades' Pulmonary Care Excellence Award. Gordon Hospital (Calhoun, Ga.). Gordon Hospital is part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System, the world's largest nonprofit Protestant healthcare system. In 2016, iVantage named the 69-bed facility as one of its Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals. Also this year, Healthgrades gave the hospital its outstanding patient experience and patient safety excellence awards. Hawkins County Memorial Hospital (Rogersville, Tenn.). Hawkins County Memorial Hospital has served the Rogersville community since 1961 and employs more than 50 board-certified physicians and approximately 160 nurses, technicians and support staff.
