20 Karen Testman, RN. CFO of MemorialCare Health System (Fountain Valley, Calif.). Ms. Testman has more than two decades of healthcare experience. Prior to becoming CFO in late 2013, she was senior vice president of financial operations for MemorialCare. She also previously served as CFO of Orange Coast Memorial in Fountain Valley and Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills, Calif., and San Clemente, Calif. Thomas Todorow. Executive Vice President and CFO of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Mr. Todorow has been CFO of CHOP since 2001. Prior to joining CHOP, he was senior vice president and CFO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, which has locations throughout New England. He was previously held senior executive roles with Proliance Pharmaceuticals, ArcVentures, and J.P. Morgan's healthcare division. Lannie Tonnu. Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO of Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Ms. Tonnu has served as senior vice president of finance and CFO of Children's Hospital since 1991. Prior to joining Children's Hospital, she was with Ernst & Young from 1979 to 1991, where she was audit senior manager in the healthcare practice at the Los Angeles office. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Sol Price School of Public Policy at The University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Michael Tretina. Senior Vice President and CFO of Bayhealth (Dover, Del.). As CFO of Bayhealth, Mr. Tretina sits on the executive team for one of the largest health systems in Delaware. He was appointed to the role in 2013. Before then, Mr. Tretina was CFO of Mary Greeley Medical Center, a city-owned hospital in Ames, Iowa, for more than four years. Doug Vanderslice. Senior Vice President and CFO of Boston Children's Hospital. Mr. Vanderslice has served as CFO of Boston Children's Hospital since 2013. Before then, he was vice president and CFO of St. Louis Children's Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare in St. Louis, and concurrently served as CFO of BJC's home care and behavioral health service lines for three years. Previously, Mr. Vanderslice was with Children's Medical Center of Dallas as controller and director of patient financial services. James Watson. CFO of University of Chicago Medicine. Mr. Watson has served as CFO of University of Chicago Medicine, a $1.5 billion academic medical center, since 2011. Prior to joining University of Chicago Medicine, he was CFO of University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Mr. Watson earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Charles "Chuck" Weis. Executive Vice President and CFO of Sinai Health System (Chicago). Mr. Weis, a certified public accountant, has been part of Sinai since the early 1980s. Outside of Sinai, he serves as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Public Health's hospital administration program. Mr. Weis earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb. Gary Weiss. Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer of NorthShore University HealthSystem (Evanston, Ill.). Since 2001, Mr. Weiss has been at NorthShore University HealthSystem. He officially became CFO of NorthShore in 2007. Before NorthShore, he spent 26 years at The First National Bank of Chicago and its affiliate organizations and held the roles of CFO and chief accounting officer of the commercial banking business line. Ken Wheat. Senior Vice President and CFO of Eisenhower Medical Center (Rancho Mirage, Calif.). Mr. Wheat is CFO of Eisenhower Medical Center, which he joined in 2013. Before then, he was a healthcare executive in several regions of the country. Mr. Wheat earned a master's degree in health administration from the University of Southern California. Gary Willis. Executive Vice President and CFO of Capella Healthcare (Franklin, Tenn.). Mr. Willis joined Capella in late 2015 in his current role, joining the system from Martin Ventures, where he served as CFO. He also gained experience at Vanguard Health Systems and Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health. Mr. Willis is a certified public accountant and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. Vinson Yates. Senior Vice President and CFO of OhioHealth (Columbus). Mr. Yates serves as CFO of OhioHealth, a system he joined in 1987. He was previously president of OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus from 2010 to 2013. Mr. Yates has held various leadership roles in finance, including vice president of finance at both OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital and OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, both in Columbus. Laura Zehm. Vice President and CFO of Community Hospital of the Monterey (Calif.) Peninsula. Ms. Zehm has served as CFO of Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula since 1996. She has also served as reimbursement coordinator and director of financial services for the 258-bed nonprofit hospital. Ms. Zehm earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Illinois University in Macomb, as well as an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Kris Zimmer. Senior Vice President of Finance for SSM Health (St. Louis). Mr. Zimmer joined the Catholic 20-hospital SSM Health in 2003. Before then, he was CFO of Louisville, Ky.-based Norton Healthcare. Mr. Zimmer was appointed to the federal advisory panel on hospital outpatient payment in 2013. His appointment will run through Jan. 31, 2017. Bert Zimmerli. Executive Vice President and CFO of Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City). Mr. Zimmerli joined Intermountain in 2003. More recently, he has led the planning and provided leadership for Intermountain's business development and innovation strategies.
