UAB Hos- pital, a Level I trauma facility, boasts some of the top medical programs in America. e 1,157-bed hospital, among the 20 largest in the nation, includes UAB Heart and Vascular Cen- ter, a Level I trauma burn center, ambulatory clinic, rehabilitation center and psychiatric center, among other sites of care.
