Hickory, N.C.-based Frye Regional Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint Healthcare facility, named Garfield "Gar" Atchison CEO. James Bands joined Laramie, Wyo.-based Ivinson Memorial Hospital as CFO. Nancy Barone, EdD, MSN, vice president and COO of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, resigned. Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health named Mary Boosalis president and CEO. e MetroHealth System, based in Cleveland, promoted Kate Brown to president of e MetroHealth Foundation and chief develop- ment officer of e MetroHealth System. USMD Holdings, a physician-led integrated healthcare system based in Irving, Texas, appointed Michael Bukosky COO. EASTAR Health System in Muskogee, Okla., appointed Anthony R. "Tony" Capuano COO. Peter Chalke, CEO of Lewiston-based Central Maine Healthcare, will retire from his post later this year. Memorial Hermann Health System in Hous- ton named Benjamin Chu, MD, president and CEO, effective June 2016. Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Mass., named Ava Jo Collins COO. Michael Connelly, president and CEO of Cincinnati-based Mercy Health, will retire Jan. 31, 2017. Rita Croom was appointed senior vice presi- dent and chief experience officer of Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare. Darcy Davis was named CEO of the Health Care District of Palm Beach County, a safe- ty-net healthcare system in Florida. Tyrone (Pa.) Regional Health Network, previ- ously known as Tyrone Hospital, named CNO Sharon Fisher, MSN, RN, as interim CEO following the resignation of Stephen Gildea. Aer serving as interim CNO for six months, Tracy Galvin, MSN, RN, was named perma- nent CNO at Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute named Laurie Glimcher, MD, CEO, effective January 2017. Cherie Gorby, MSN, RN, former COO of Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo., will return to her old post May 2. Kevin Hammeran was named CEO and ad- ministrator of Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women and the Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children's Hospital, both in Memphis, Tenn. Tracie Haughey, CFO of Washington, Ga.- based Wills Memorial Hospital, will take over the CEO position while continuing in her role as CFO. Jackson-based University of Mississippi Medical Center named Don Hutson CEO of its hospitals in Grenada and Lexington. Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Mich., hired Mac McClurkan as its new CIO. Schenectady, N.Y.-based Ellis Medicine named Paul Milton president and CEO. IU Health Goshen (Ind.) appointed Robert Myers COO. Sister Romaine Niemeyer, chief adminis- trative officer of Camp Hill, Pa.-based Holy Spirit Health System, will retire June 30. Troy, Mich.-based Beaumont Health named Constance O'Malley, RN, president of Beau- mont Hospital-Farmington Hills (Mich.), formerly Botsford Hospital. e new chief of medicine at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center is Ralph Panos, MD. Dr. Panos is replacing Barbara Temeck, MD, who was removed from the position Feb. 25. Carlos Pellegrini, MD, was named CMO of Seattle-based University of Washington Med- icine and vice president for medical affairs for the University of Washington in Seattle. David Flum, MD, was named associate CMO of UW Medicine. Blaine Petersen was named CFO of May- wood, Ill.-based Loyola University Health System. Pamela Reed, MSN, RN, was promoted to CEO of Kindred Hospital Melbourne (Fla.). Elizabethtown (N.Y.) Community Hospital, part of Burlington-based University of Ver- mont Health Network, named John Remi- llard interim administrator and CEO. Randall Segler, CEO of Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Okla., retired. Gary Shorb, CEO of Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, will retire at the end of 2016. Santa Barbara, Calif.-Based Cottage Health named Brett Tande senior vice president and CFO. Clay Taylor is resigning from his post as CEO of Covenant Health Plainview (Texas). Anthony Wehbe, DO, was named chief pop- ulation health executive of Kennedy Health in Voorhes, N.J.
