Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center (Los Angeles). e Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center is focused on outpa- tient orthopedic surgeries and sports medicine. e facility includes an extended recovery area for patients to stay 23-hours for larger procedures. e physicians affiliated with the center are team physicians for the Los Angeles Angels of Ana- heim, LA Lakers, Raiders and Dodgers. Lakeside Surgery Center (Omaha, Neb.). An affiliate of Surgical Care Affiliates, Lakeside Sur- gery Center is a joint venture between Alegent Creighton Health and a group of independent physician owners. Lakeside is a CMS-licensed outpatient center, and AAAHC-accredited. More than 50 percent of the center's cases are orthope- dic. e surgery center aims to honor the dignity and worth of each person, as well as provide cost- effective, convenient care. Laser Spine Institute (Tampa, Fla.). Laser Spine Institute has locations in Philadelphia; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Oklahoma City; Tampa; Cleveland; St. Lou- is and Cincinnati. Headquartered in Tampa, La- ser Spine Institute's physicians treat patients with a variety of spinal conditions including spinal pain, degenerative spine, bulging disc, spondylo- listhesis and scoliosis, among several others. Laser Spine Institute is AAAHC-accredited. Loveland (Colo.) Surgery Center. Loveland Sur- gery Center was originally formed as a joint venture between National Surgical Care and the center's physician owners. e center is accredited by e Joint Commission. Loveland Surgery Centers offers patients services in orthopedics/spine, pain manage- ment, anesthesia as well as ear, throat and nose. Mallard Creek Surgery Center (Charlotte, N.C.). Mallard Creek Surgery Center is one of three physician-owned ASCs awarded a demon- stration project from the state of North Carolina. It is a fully-orthopedics-driven ASC and performs procedures including foot and ankle surgery, knee surgery, hand surgery, elbow surgery, shoul- der surgery, spine surgery, cartilage restoration, sports-related treatment and pain management. Mayfield Spine Surgery Center (Cincinnati). Mayfield Spine was established in 1996 as a sub- sidiary of Mayfield Clinic. e center offers brain surgery, spine surgery, pain injections, physiatry, radiation therapy and radiosurgery and physical therapy. Mayfield offers patients MRI services. Mayfield has locations throughout Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Memorial Spine & Neuroscience Center (South Bend, Ind.). Memorial Spine & Neuroscience Center is certified by the AAAHC. e center has a preoperative patient care center and a post- anesthesia care unit. e center offers minimally invasive spine surgery, head and neck surgery, pain management procedures as well as periph- eral nerve surgery. rough its cost-effective techniques, surgeons at Memorial Spine & Neu- roscience Center aim to provide great outcomes in neurosurgery and pain management. Metro Specialty in Jeffersonville (Ind.). Found- ed in 2008, the surgery center offers orthopedic surgery, pain management, podiatry, plastic sur- gery and ENT. e center's orthopedic cases rep- resent 54 percent of its total cases. SurgCenter Development is partnered with the Metro Surgery Center's surgeons. Missoula Bone & Joint Surgery Center (Missou- la, Mont.). Missoula Bone & Joint Surgery Center is a freestanding, AAAHC-certified surgery cen- ter founded in 2001. It is a member of the Mon- tana Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. In 2015, the center was 96 percent based in orthope- dics and 4 percent in plastic surgery. Mobile (Ala.) Surgery Center. Mobile Surgery Center is affiliated with Surgical Care Affiliates. e center offers services in orthopedics, oph- thalmology, pain management, podiatry, plastic surgery, gynecology and oral surgery. A group of physicians opened Mobile Surgery Center in 1984 to provide residents an alterative to hospital- based outpatient surgery. e 19,000-square-foot facility is accredited by the AAAHC and certified by Medicare. Moore Clinic Outpatient Surgery Center (Lex- ington, S.C.). Opened in 2007, e Moore Clinic Outpatient Surgery Center was founded by Moore Clinic physicians. e multispecialty surgery cen- ter specializes in orthopedics. Practice Partners developed and manages the center. NeoSpine and Pain Surgery Center (Puyallup, Wash). NeoSpine and Pain Surgery Center has two operating rooms as well as an MRI and conference room. e center is accredited by the Joint Com- mission. Richard Wohns, MD, leads the ASC. Neurological Institute Ambulatory Surgery Cen- ter (Savannah, Ga.). Neurological Institute of Sa- vannah is accredited by the AAAHC. e center's neurosurgeons specialize in pediatric neurosur- gery, traumatic brain injury, back and neck pain, aneurysms, strokes, brain tumors, Parkinson's dis- ease, spine tumors and peripheral nerve. e cen- ter also provides pain management services. NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center (Ft. Wayne, Ind.). NeuroSpine surgeons focus on neck and back surgery to treat low back pain, upper back pain, neck pain and muscle pain. e physicians of NeuroSpine and Pain Center own and operate the center in conjunction with Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. Accredited by the AAAHC, NeuroSpine and Pain Surgery Center opened in February 2007. New Albany Surgery Center (Ohio). New Al- bany Surgery Center is a 16,000-square-foot, phy- sician-owned outpatient surgery center focused solely on orthopedics procedures. e center came about through a partnership with the New Albany surgeons and Mount Carmel. New England Baptist Hospital's Outpatient Care Center (Dedham, Mass.). New England Baptist Hospital is a nationally-renowned pro- vider for orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal disease. e hospital's orthopedic-driven ASC en- compasses 33,000 square feet and includes eight operating rooms and a spine center. e center's primary focus is on providing sports medicine and orthopedic services. North American Spine (Dallas). North Ameri- can Spine offers patients spine services to reduce or eliminate back and neck pain. Staff members include surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses and medical technicians. North American Spine is AAAHC-accredited, and is licensed by the state of Texas. North Pointe Surgery Centers (Lancaster & Lebanon, Pa.). North Pointe Surgery Center has locations in Lancaster and Lebanon. e Lancast- er ASCs offers orthopedic and pain management services. North Point opened a multispecialty ASC in Lebanon in November 2015. e ASC currently provides orthopedic and pain manage- ment services. Both centers are accredited by e Joint Commission. Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center (Portland). Oregon Outpatient Surgery center is a multispe- cialty center with 75 percent to 80 percent of its cases orthopedic. e AAAHC-accredited facility was established in 2004. Oregon Outpatient Sur- gery Center is a joint venture between a group of physicians and Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health and Services. Orthopedic Associates ASC (Oklahoma City, Okla.). Orthopedic Associates ASC was built in 1986 and has been in practice for more than 40 years. e physician-owned center is Medicare- certified and state licensed. e center is 100 per- cent focused on orthopedics. Orthopaedic and Neurological Center of Greenwich (Conn.). Orthopaedic and Neurolog- ical Center of Greenwich offers patients orthope- dic, spine and sports medicine services. All ONC physicians are certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Board of Neuro- logical Surgery or the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. e center aims to provide excellent neurosurgical and orthopedic care to its patients through professional coopera- tion and compassion. Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colo- rado (Colorado Springs). Orthopaedic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado opened in Septem- ber 2014. Ninety-five percent of the center's case load is orthopedic, with spine accounting for 15 percent and general orthopedics accounting for 80 percent. Pinnacle III manages Orthopae- dic & Spine Center of Southern Colorado. e 30,000-square-foot facility houses six operating rooms and nine private suites. e Orthopedic & Sports Institute of the Fox Valley (Appleton, Wis.). Orthopedic & Sports In- stitute of the Fox Valley opened in 2006. e center has an MRI scanner and a recovery room, allowing physicians to take care of hip replacement patients until they are ready to return home. Most of the procedures performed in the ASC are total joint procedures, but the group also provides pain man- agement and podiatry. e Orthopedic & Sports
