executives. Janelle Raborn, who was

president of operations with Lovelace
Health System. James Washecka,
who for the past five years has served
as CFO of Hillcrest Hospital South in
Tulsa, Okla., was named division CFO
of Lovelace Health System, effective
March 1.
Raleigh, N.C.-based UNC Rex Health-
care has hired Susan Sandberg, RN,
BSN, as COO.
Houston-based Memorial Hermann
Health System has hired Dan Styf as
senior vice president and CEO of its
health plan business.
David Tilton, president and CEO of
Atlantic City, N.J.-based AtlantiCare,
will retire from this post June 30. Mr.
Tilton will be succeeded by Lori Hern-
don, RN, BSN, AtlantiCare's execu-
tive vice president and AtlantiCare
Regional Medical Center president
and CEO.
James "Jim" Wells, RN, BSN, was
promoted to CNO of EASTAR Health
System in Muskogee, Okla., an affiliate
of Franklin, Tenn.-based hospital oper-
ator Capella Healthcare.
Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas
HealthCare System appointed Eu-
gene A. Woods president and CEO,
effective April 28.
Kevin Vermeer officially started his
new role as CEO of West Des Moines,
Iowa-based UnityPoint Health. n
