Ellipse PRECICE ® Intramedullary Limb Lengthening System. The Ellipse PRECICE ® Intramedullary Limb Lengthening (IMLL) System is composed of an implantable intramedullary nail, locking screws, reusable instruments, and a hand-held External Remote Controller (ERC). The PRECICE nail is a sterile single use device that is surgically implanted using the instruments and locking screws. The ERC is used daily after implantation to non-invasively lengthen or shor ten the implant to a prescribed length. The PRECICE System is intended for limb lengthening of the femur and tibia. Please refer to the instructions for use for a complete list of contraindications, warnings, and precautions. Caution: U.S. Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. Ellipse MAGEC ® Spinal Bracing and Distraction System. The Ellipse MAGEC ® Spinal Bracing and Distraction System is comprised of a sterile single use spinal rod that is surgically implanted using appropriate Stryker ® Xia ® fixation components (i.e.; pedicle screws, hooks and/or connectors, provided non-sterile, to be sterilized by the end user). The system includes a non-sterile hand-held External Remote Controller (ERC), which is used at various times after implant to non-invasively lengthen or shor ten the implanted spinal rod. The MAGEC System is indicated for skeletally immature patients less than 10 years of age with severe progressive spinal deformities (e.g.; Cobb angle of 30 degrees or more; thoracic spine height less than 22cm) associated with or at risk of thoracic insufficiency syndrome (TIS). Please refer to the MAGEC System instructions for use for a complete list of the contraindications, warnings, and precautions; as well as impor tant directions for use.
