During his career spanning more than 30 years, Mr. Nurick has served in leadership roles for large and small healthcare organizations in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Michigan. He joined Kittitas Valley Healthcare in Washington as CEO in July 2009. In 2014, Mr. Nurick received the Leah Layne Me- morial Health Leadership Award from the Washington Rural Health Association. Brent Peterson. CEO and Administrator of Cherry County Hospital (Valentine, Neb.). Mr. Peterson has served as the CEO and administrator of Cherry County Hospital for roughly 35 years. Prior to his days as a hospital executive, Mr. Peterson worked as a physical therapist. He is also a former chairman and board member of Nebraska Hospital Association. Robert Peterson. CEO of Millinocket (Maine) Regional Hospital. Aer con- ducting a nationwide search, Millinocket Regional chose Mr. Peterson as its new CEO in 2014. Mr. Peterson's previous roles include patient care administrator for surgery and women and children's ser- vices at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor and vice president of operations at Windham Hospital in Willimantic, Conn. In his free time, Mr. Peterson enjoys run- ning, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and hunting with his family. David E. Phelps. CEO of Berkshire Health Systems (Pittsfield, Mass.). Mr. Phelps oversees Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, Mass., which is part of BHS. Mr. Phelps, a Pittsfield native, was appointed president of BHS and BHS' long-term care associate Berkshire Health Care Systems in 1993. Mr. Phelps current- ly serves on the Board of the Massachu- setts Council of Community Hospitals and Massachusetts Hospital Association. Prior to entering the world of healthcare, Mr. Phelps held several local and national government positions, including assistant to the former Pittsfield mayor and special assistant to the chief of protocol for the U.S. State Department. Lisa M. Radtke. Chief Administrative Officer of Winneshiek Medical Center (Decorah, Iowa). Ms. Radtke became CAO of Winneshiek Medical Center in October 2014 aer taking on the role in an interim capacity in May 2014. A licensed social worker, Ms. Radtke has been with Mayo Clinic Health System, which provides physician services at Winneshiek, for more than 30 years. During that time, she served 17 years as a behavioral health counselor and director and 17 years in human resources and organizational learning and development. Ms. Radtke holds a master's degree in community health. Roger J. Reamer. Administrator and CEO of Memorial Health Care Systems (Seward, Neb.). Mr. Reamer has served as Memorial's administrator and CEO for 15 years. He has also held CEO positions at Butler County Health Care Center in David City, Neb., and Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth, Neb. Mr. Reamer is the current president of the Rural Com- prehensive Care Network of Nebraska and the vice president of the Prairie Health Ventures' board of directors. He is also a member of the Bryan College of Health Sciences School of Nursing board and the Four Corners Health Department. Timothy Richman. President and CEO of Calumet Medical Center (Chilton, Wis.). Mr. Richman was made president and CEO of Calumet Medical Center in 2008. Previously, he served as region- al vice president of physical medicine and rehabilitation, oncology services for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Milwaukee. A Wisconsin native, Mr. Rich- man earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and his master's degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Bruce Roesler. CEO of Richland Hospi- tal (Richland Center, Wis.). Mr. Roesler became CEO of Richland Hospital in March. He most recently served as CEO of Mercy Medical Center in New Hamp- ton, Iowa, a position he held for more than seven years. Mr. Roesler is a Mid- western native, growing up in La Crosse, Wis., and hasn't strayed far from his roots: He gained experience leading hospitals in Minnesota and elsewhere in Wisconsin. He earned a master's degree in health ad- ministration at the University of Minne- sota in Minneapolis. Emmett C. Schuster. President and CEO of Gibson General Hospital (Princeton, Ind.). Mr. Schuster joined Gibson General Hospital as president and CEO in 2007. Previously, he served as interim CEO at Weiser (Idaho) Memorial Hospital, as well as various other healthcare execu- tive positions in Indiana, Idaho, Kansas, Wisconsin and Oklahoma. Mr. Schuster served more than 30 years in the U.S. Army, both in active and reserve duty. He retired in 2009 as a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. Justin Selle. CEO of Pike County Memo- rial Hospital (Louisiana, Mo.). Mr. Selle joined Pike County Memorial Hospital in July 2014 as COO, with plans to take the reins from the retiring CEO in March. He has prior experience leading the Pike County Health Department Home Health and Hospice as an administrator. Mr. Selle earned his MBA from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. Hank Simpson, MD. Vice CMO of Mayo Clinic Health System in Northwest Wis- consin and Chairman of the Board at Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar (Menomonie, Wis.). Dr. Simpson has served in his current roles since 2004, pri- or to which he was the medical director at Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar for seven years. Dr. Simpson received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin's Department of Family Medicine through the Eau Claire (Wis.) Family Practice Residency. He is a member of the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts in Menomonie and the Rotary Club of Menomonie. is father of three is also a self-published science fiction author.
