e hospital not only treats the island's residents, it
also celebrates them: Martha's Vineyard's own private
art collection totals more than 500 pieces of art that
were created by artists who live or have lived on the
island. iVantage Health Analytics has placed MVH on
its Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals list four times,
most recently in 2015.
Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar (Menom-
onie, Wis.). Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Cedar is
a physician-led system that includes a critical access
hospital and a clinic. It has served its community for
more than 40 years, but its clinic joined MCHS in
1995 and the hospital followed in 1996. e hospital
has been placed on iVantage Health Analytics' list of
Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals four times, most
recently in 2015. Also this year, the hospital earned
Healthgrades' Patient Safety Excellence Award.
Memorial Health Care Systems (Seward, Neb.). is
rural system's hospital, Memorial Hospital, has been
serving Seward County residents for more than 60
years. e hospital is currently undergoing a con-
struction project to renovate its emergency depart-
ment and build an outpatient services facility, among
