Susan Carocari is the administrator of Merritt Healthcare-affiliated River Valley ASC in Nor- wich, Conn. She has more than 25 years of experi- ence in the nursing profession. Ms. Carocari has been with River Valley ASC since 2013. Mauro Cecchetti serves as vice president of oper- ations at Constitution Surgery Centers in Green- wich, Conn. He currently manages two surgery center joint ventures with Greenwich Hospital — The Helmsley Ambulatory Surgery Center and the Orthopedic & Neurosurgery Center of Green- wich. Previously, he served as director of clinical operations at Mid Manhattan Surgi-Center. He is also a surveyor for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Susan Cheek, CPA, CHCC, CASC, is administrator at Dallas Endoscopy Center, a position she has held for more than eight years. She is responsible for the five-suite center's accounts receivable manage- ment, budget forecasting, human resources, insur- ance company contracts and vendor management. Stacey Clarke is administrative director of the Strictly Pediatrics Surgery Center in Austin, Tex- as. The surgery center, managed by ASD Manage- ment, is a joint venture between 25 surgeons and Seton Health System. Joseph Colbert is administrator at North Coast Surgery Center in Oceanside, Calif., a joint ven- ture between physician partners, Tri-City Medical Center and Surgical Care Affiliates. He has been administrator there for more than 13 years, nego- tiating the center's transition from freestanding to joint venture in 2010. P. Evalyn Cole, MSHA, CASC, is the administra- tor of the Spine Surgery Center in Eugene, Ore., and CEO of KeiperSpine. Ms. Cole has assisted Oregon physician groups with several ASC proj- ects. While earning her master's degree, she wrote her thesis on developing an ASC. Martha R. Colen, RN, MBA, CASC, is the adminis- trator of Virginia Beach Ambulatory Surgery Cen- ter. The ASC was founded in 1989 and includes four operating rooms. The AAAHC-accredited facility has orthopedics, otolaryngology, urology, general surgery and gynecology along with other specialties. Jennifer Collins is administrator at Parkway Sur- gery Center in Hagerstown, Md., affiliated with Blue Chip Surgical Partners. She has held the position for more than six years. Physicians at the center are fo- cused on spine surgery and pain management. Elizabeth Convery, RN, is a board-certified ho- listic nurse, certified yoga instructor and admin- istrator of Teaneck (N.J.) Surgical Center. She was appointed in January 2014 and previously served as the center's director of nursing. Her back- ground is in OR and labor and delivery nursing. Dan Corbett, MBA, CASC, is the administrator of Pacific Hills Surgery Center in Laguna Hills, Calif., a role he has held since April. Previously, he was ad- ministrator at Reagan Street Surgery Center in Los Alamitos, Calif. He has also served as administrator with Orangewood Surgical Center in Orange, Calif. Dean Daringer is the administrator of Surgery Center of Chester County, Pa. He has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare ad- ministration, specializing in joint venture ASC start-ups, as well as problematic centers. He previously worked for Quorum and CHI, as well as management groups such as ACCA and Relative Health. Since coming to the center, he has increased the bottom line more than 10,000 percent the first year and has saved the company over $250,000 by re-negotiating contracts. He is currently working on a deal to double the physi- cian partners for the center. Beth Davis is administrator of Physicians' Surgical Care Center in Winter Park, Florida, a Surgical Care Affiliates facility. The ASC opened in 1993 and is building a new facility, which is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2015. Beth is currently working to develop a Total Joint Center of Excellence in 2016 in conjunction with Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic.
