Mr. Vanderslice has years of experience in healthcare finance at pediatric hospitals. Before joining Boston Children's in January 2013, Mr. Vanderslice was vice president of finance and CFO of St. Louis Children's Hospital. While there, he also served as the financial liaison to the hospital's par- ent system, St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare. He also previously served as director of patient financial services and controller at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Elizabeth "Beth" Ward. CFO of UT Southwest- ern Medical Center's University Hospitals and Clinics (Dallas). Ms. Ward has held her current position as CFO of UT Southwestern Medical Center's University Hospitals and Clinics since 2012. Before joining UT Southwestern, she was executive vice president and CFO of Wellmont Health System in Kingsport, Tenn. Ms. Ward earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accoun- tants and an advanced member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Monte Ward. CFO and Chief Acquisition Officer of Cabell Huntington (W.Va.) Hospital. Mr. Ward has been the CFO of Cabell Huntington Hospital for more than 33 years, but he recently added the title of CAO in January 2015 to oversee Cabell Hun- tington's acquisition of St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. Mr. Ward earned an MBA from Marshall University and holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University. He is a certified public accountant. Denise Warren. Executive Vice President and CFO of Capella Healthcare (Franklin, Tenn.). Ms. War- ren joined Capella shortly after it was founded in 2005. She was previously a senior equity analyst and research director for Avondale Partners and has more than 25 years of financial experience. Ms. Warren is involved in the community, serving on the board of directors for the American Heart Association-Middle Tennessee Chapter, and she has also served on the board of governors of the Federa- tion of American Hospitals. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School. James Watson. CFO of University of Chicago Medicine. Before joining University of Chicago Medicine in 2011 as CFO, Mr. Watson was the CFO of Oklahoma City-based University of Okla- homa Medical Center. He earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University and has a bach- elor's degree in accounting from the University of Iowa. Charles Weis. Executive Vice President and CFO of Sinai Health System (Chicago). Mr. Weis joined Sinai Health System in 1982 and became its CFO four years later. A certified public accountant, Mr. Weis is an adjunct faculty member for the Univer- sity of Illinois-Chicago School of Public Health hospital administration program. He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a member of the Illinois Hospital Association Public Policy Council. Gary Weiss. Executive Vice President, Treasurer and CFO of NorthShore University HealthSys- tem (Evanston, Ill.). Mr. Weiss joined North- Shore University HealthSystem in 2001 and be- came its CFO in October 2007. Prior to joining the Chicagoland system, he was in the banking and financial services sector. In fact, he spent 26 years at The First National Bank of Chicago and its affiliate organizations. There, he held the roles of CFO and chief accounting officer of the com- mercial banking business line. Ken Wheat. Senior Vice President and CFO of Eisenhower Medical Center (Rancho Mirage, Calif.). Mr. Wheat is CFO of Eisenhower Medi- cal Center, a nonprofit 476-bed hospital that gains significant financial support from a broad base of philanthropic donors. He is originally from Florida and served as a healthcare executive in several regions of the country before joining EMC in 2013. Mr. Wheat has a master's degree in health administration from the University of Southern California. Outside of his work at EMC, Mr. Wheat is on the board of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. Vinson Yates. Senior Vice President and CFO of OhioHealth (Columbus). Mr. Yates joined OhioHealth in 1987 and served in a variety of roles, including president of OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, before being appointed senior vice president and CFO in 2013. He has more than 20 years of healthcare finance and opera- tions experience. Mr. Yates has served on the board of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and LifeCare Alliance. Kris Zimmer. Senior Vice President of Finance for SSM Health Care (St. Louis). Mr. Zimmer joined SSM Health in 2003 and serves as the system's senior vice president of finance. In this role, he oversees financial and regulatory report- ing, financial planning, capital management and supply chain services, among other duties. He was previously the CFO of Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Ky. Mr. Zimmer has a master's of management degree from the J. L. Kellogg Gradu- ate School of Management at Northwestern Uni- versity in Evanston, Ill. In addition to his role at SSM, Mr. Zimmer is also on a federal advisory panel on hospital outpatient payment, a role he began in 2013. Bert Zimmerli. Executive Vice President and CFO of Intermountain Healthcare (Salt Lake City). Mr. Zimmerli has been with Intermoun- tain since 2003, overseeing a variety of financial operations functions as well as the system's in- surance/health plans operations and Intermoun- tain's information systems operations. He earned an MBA from the University of Wisconsin and is a certified public accountant.
