Vice President and CFO of St. Luke's Hospital (Chesterfield, Mo.). Mr. Johnson took over as CFO of this 493-bed, nonprofit hospital in 2012. Under his leadership, the hospital received the Healthcare Financial Management Association's 2014 MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle. Additionally, this year, Mr. Johnson received a CFO of the Year Award from the St. Louis Business Journal. He is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Keith Kasper. Senior Vice President and CFO of University of Pennsylvania Health System (Phila- delphia). Mr. Kasper joined UPHS in 2004 as as- sociate vice president of financial operations and worked his way up to the role of CFO. As CFO, he is responsible for leading the system's capital and operating budget process, providing financial sup- port in the development of strategic and operating plans, among various other duties. Prior to coming to UPHS, Mr. Kasper served as CFO of Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Mr. Kasper is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Ryan Kitchell. Executive Vice President and CFO of Indiana University Health (Indianapolis). Mr. Kitchell joined IU Health in September 2010 as trea- surer and was appointed CFO in 2012. Before join- ing IU Health, he worked more than five years for former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, first as public finance director and then as director of the Office of Management and Budget. Prior to that, Mr. Kitchell held various financial roles at Eli Lilly & Company, the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute and Prudential Capital Group. He earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Greg Klugherz. Vice President of Finance and CFO of CentraCare Health System (St. Cloud, Minn.). Mr. Klugherz has served as CFO of CentraCare since 2008. However, he was not a newcomer to the healthcare financial world, as he previously served as a senior financial executive for HealthPartners Medical Group and as CFO of Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. Mr. Klugherz also previously served as a finance executive for GE Capital Fleet Services. Ronald Knaus. Senior Vice President and CFO of Spectrum Health (Grand Rapids, Mich.). Mr. Knaus was promoted to his current positions in January 2014. He was previously the vice president of finance of Spectrum Health Hospital Group, and he also has experience as the system's corporate con- troller. With his promotion, he became responsible for the finances of the nonprofit 12-hospital system and its subsidiaries. Anne Krebs. CFO of Butler (Pa.) Health System. With more than 28 years of healthcare finance ex- perience, Ms. Krebs came to Butler in 2001 from St. John's Mercy Health System in St. Louis. She pre- viously served as vice president of finance at the former St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood, Mo., as- sistant vice president of finance at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and senior auditor in KPMG's Chicago office. Ms. Krebs earned an MBA from Loyola University, and she is a certified public ac- countant. JoAnn Kunkel. Corporate CFO of Sanford Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.). Ms. Kunkel joined Sanford Medical Center in 1995. In 2012, she was named CFO of Sanford Health. As CFO, she serves as the financial leader for the system, which includes 43 hospitals and 243 clinics. Ms. Kunkel earned an MBA from The University of South Dakota. Kathy Lancaster. Executive Vice President of Strategy and CFO of Kaiser Foundation Hospi- tals and Health Plan (Oakland, Calif.). Joining Kaiser Permanente in 1998, Ms. Lancaster was promoted to CFO of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan in 2005. Prior to her current role, she held various strategy and financial planning roles within Kaiser Permanente. Prior to coming to Kaiser Permanente, Ms. Lancaster held a num- ber of senior leadership roles in underwriting and network management for Prudential Insurance Company's western region. Phyllis Lantos. Executive Vice President, Treasur- er and CFO of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (New York City). As CFO of NewYork-Presbyteri- an Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System, Ms. Lantos oversees all financial matters, including financial reporting, revenue cycle, cost accounting, strategic sourcing and supply chain. Prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian in 2000, Ms. Lantos served as deputy COO at Yale Universi- ty School of Medicine and vice president of finan- cial management services at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Dennis Laraway. CFO of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System (Houston). Mr. Laraway joined Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in 2011 from Temple, Texas-based Scott & White Health- care, which merged with Dallas-based Baylor Health Care System to form Baylor Scott & White Health. Mr. Laraway also previously served as CFO of Dignity Health in San Francisco. He earned his MBA from the Lally School of Management at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. Ralph Lawson. Executive Vice President and CFO of Baptist Health South Florida (Coral Gables). Mr. Lawson has served as CFO of Baptist Health South Florida since 1989. Before joining the non- profit system, Mr. Lawson spent 17 years with De- loitte, and for eight of those years he was a partner responsible for the Florida healthcare practice. He chairs the board of Catholic Health Services, a post-acute healthcare system, and has served as chair of the Healthcare Financial Management As- sociation. Mr. Lawson earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. Darryl Linnington. CFO of McAlester (Okla.) Regional Health Center.
