CFO of Freeman Health System (Joplin, Mo.). Mr. Graddy joined Freeman Health System's finance department in 1988, and he was named CFO in 2002. He serves on the boards of the Joplin Regional Economic Development Asso- ciation and United Way of Southwest Missouri & Southeast Kansas, among other organizations. Mr. Graddy graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science in business ad- ministration with an emphasis in accounting. Richard A. Grossi. Senior Vice President and CFO of Johns Hopkins Medicine (Baltimore). Mr. Gros- si was appointed to his current position at Johns Hopkins Medicine in 1996. In this role, he oversees all day-to-day financial functions of the school of medicine, Johns Hopkins' four acute-care hospitals, its medical groups, home care, long-term care and managed care organizations. He is also senior asso- ciate dean for finance and administration at Johns Hopkins. Mr. Grossi has an MBA in finance from Pace University. Joe Guarracino. Senior Vice President and CFO of The Brooklyn (N.Y.) Hospital Center. Since 2007, Mr. Guarracino has served as senior vice president and CFO of The Brooklyn Hospital Center, a hospi- tal with roots dating back to 1839. Mr. Guarracino has more than 25 years of financial administration experience. Before joining the Brooklyn Hospital Center, he served as CFO of Vassar Brothers Medi- cal Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Donald Halliwill. Assistant Treasurer, Execu- tive Vice President and CFO of Carilion Clinic (Roanoke, Va.). Mr. Halliwill has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, and he joined Carilion Clinic in 1997. Before being named CFO of Carilion in 2013, Mr. Halliwill served in vari- ous capacities with the organization, including as director of finance for Carilion's New River Valley Region. Mr. Halliwill earned his MBA from Wake Forest University. Gail Hanson. Senior Vice President and CFO of Aurora Health Care (Milwaukee). Ms. Hanson joined Aurora Health Care in 2011, and as CFO, she is responsible for accounting, finance and treasury services, among other duties. Before joining Aurora Health Care, she served as deputy executive director for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. Ms. Hanson also had a 20-year career working with Blue Cross Blue Shield United of Wisconsin. Fred Hargett. Executive Vice President and CFO of Novant Health (Winston-Salem, N.C.). Mr. Hargett joined Novant Health in 2003 and served in various capacities, including as executive vice presi- dent of finance, before being named CFO. Prior to coming to Novant, he served as manager of health- care consulting at Ernst & Young, where he led engagements in strategic planning, business devel- opment and financial forecasting. Mr. Hargett is a certified public accountant, and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accoun- tants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Scott Hawig. Senior Vice President of Finance, CFO and Treasurer of Froedtert Health (Mil- waukee). Mr. Hawig has served as vice president of finance, CFO and treasurer of Froedtert Health since 2012. As CFO, he has led the system through the opening of a large multispecialty health cen- ter in New Berlin, Wis., and through the devel- opment of the Center for Advanced Care, which is Froedtert Hospital's newest building. Prior to joining Froedtert, Mr. Hawig served as the ex- ecutive leader who oversaw Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System's revenue cycle. He earned his MBA from Duke University. Dennis Hesch. Executive Vice President and CFO of The Carle Foundation (Urbana, Ill.). A certi- fied public accountant, Mr. Hesch has over 20 years of healthcare experience. He joined The Carle Foundation in 2006 and has served as executive vice president and CFO of the two-hospital system since 2010. Prior to joining The Carle Foundation, Mr. Hesch worked in Deloitte's Healthcare sector. Pam Hess. CFO of Saint Thomas Midtown and Saint Thomas West Hospitals (Nashville, Tenn.). Ms. Hess serves as CFO of two hospitals, as she was named CFO of Saint Thomas West Hospital in September 2012 and appointed CFO of Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in 2014. Prior to taking on her role at Saint Thomas West, Ms. Hess served as CFO of Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn. She also previously served as CFO of St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. Ms. Hess is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Rick Hinds. Executive Vice President and CFO of UC Health (Cincinnati). Serving as CFO of UC Health since 2012, Mr. Hinds is responsible for the overall financial leadership of the system, among other duties. He played an instrumental role in the initial development of the UC Health corporate organization and governance structure. Mr. Hinds was also part of the team that accomplished the in- tegration of UC Physicians and UC Health into a combined hospital-physician organization. Linda Hoff. Senior Vice President and CFO of Legacy Health (Portland, Ore.). Ms. Hoff has served as CFO of Legacy Health since 2014. Prior to taking on her role at Legacy, Ms. Hoff served as CFO of Meriter Health Serves in Madison, Wis., an organization she was with for almost 19 years. Ms. Hoff earned her MBA from University of Wiscon- sin-Madison. Todd Hofheins. Executive Vice President and CFO of Providence Health & Services (Renton, Wash.).
