Mr. Morissette has been with Stanford since 2007. Previously, he was senior vice president of finance and strategy at the University of Toledo (Ohio). He also has experience serving as se- nior vice president of Chicago Medical School and as a senior associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a certified public accountant and earned his MBA in finance and policy study from the Univer- sity of Chicago. Kenneth Morris. Senior Vice President, Trea- surer and CFO of Duke University Health System (Durham, N.C.). In these leadership positions with Duke, Mr. Morris is responsible for financial man- agement and strategy, accounting, financial report- ing, financial budgeting, patient accounting, billing and registration, insurance and managed care con- tracting. Before coming to Duke, he was the senior vice president of finance at Mission St. Joseph's Health System in Asheville, N.C. He holds a master of public administration degree from the University of Colorado. Leif Murphy. Executive Vice President and CFO of LifePoint Hospitals (Brentwood, Tenn.). Mr. Murphy joined LifePoint in 2011 as chief devel- opment officer and executive vice president. He assumed the role of CFO in 2013. He has almost 20 years of experience in healthcare finance and development. As CFO of LifePoint, Mr. Murphy oversees strategic growth, acquisition efforts, in- market growth, development initiatives and more. He has previous experience as president and CEO of DSI Renal and senior vice president and trea- surer of Caremark. Dominic Nakis. Senior Vice President, Treasurer and CFO of Advocate Health Care (Downers Grove, Ill.). Mr. Nakis has been with EHS Health- care in 1986, which eventually merged with Advo- cate Health Care. He began his career at what is now Ernst & Young. Mr. Nakis completed his MBA at DePaul University in Chicago. Ali Naqvi. System CFO and Executive Vice Presi- dent of Illinois Health and Science (Decatur, Ill.). Mr. Naqvi has been the EVP and CFO of Illinois Health and Science for approximately a year and a half. During his time there thus far, he has rene- gotiated a $12 million bond, reducing interest by 1 percent; restructured the system's asset portfolio and more. Mr. Naqvi is also an adjunct instructor for MBA business strategy at Millikin University in Decatur. He holds an MBA in accounting from the New York Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Illinois Health and Science, Mr. Naqvi was the CEO of PlanClear Company. Robin Norman. Senior Vice President and CFO of Virginia Hospital Center (Arlington). Ms. Nor- man has been with the standalone Virginia Hospi- tal Center since 1979. As CFO, she is responsible for financial reporting, accounting, internal audits, third-party reimbursement, managed care, capital funding, financial planning and more. During her time as CFO, she has improved margins from -4.2 percent to 7.2 percent and grown market share from 26 percent to 33.5 percent. She is a certified public accountant and earned her MBA from Vir- ginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg. Ed O'Dea. CFO of Lehigh Valley Health Net- work (Allentown, Pa.). Mr. O'Dea was named CFO of LVHN in 2012 after holding the posi- tion in an interim capacity. He has been with LVHN since 1991 and held a number of leader- ship positions there including controller and vice president of finance. He earned his MBA from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He serves on the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Lehigh Val- ley board of directors. Robert O'Keefe. Senior Vice President and CFO of UW Hospital and Clinics (Madison, Wis.). Mr. O'Keefe is new to the CFO role at UW Hospital and Clinics, taking on the position in February. He oversees UW Health's fiscal operations, general ac- counting, treasury, payroll, accounts payable, bud- get and government reimbursement. Previously, he was the system's vice president of finance. Before he joined UW Health, Mr. O'Keefe worked with Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee for 20 years. He is a certified public accountant. John Orsini. Senior Vice President and CFO of Northwestern Memorial HealthCare (Chicago). Mr. Orsini became the senior vice president and CFO of NMHC following the merger of between Northwestern and Cadence Health, based in Win- field, Ill. At Cadence Health, he was the executive vice president and CFO. He also has experience serving as the CFO of Presence Health, a 12-hos- pital system based in Chicago. Mr. Orsini is a certi- fied public accountant. Eric Peburn. Executive Vice President and CFO of Halifax Health (Daytona Beach, Fla.). Mr. Pe- burn has been CFO of Halifax since 2007. He be- gan at the health system as a corporate controller in 1996, steadily taking on more leadership roles until assuming his current positions. He has previ- ous experience as an auditor with Ernst & Young. Mr. Peburn holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Joel Perlman. Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO of Montefiore (Bronx, N.Y.). Mr. Perl- man oversees the financial management of Mon- tefiore's four hospitals, 22 outpatient centers and home care network. The system has nearly $3 bil- lion in revenue. Mr. Perlman is a certified public accountant. Prior to joining Montefiore more than 20 years ago, he was the CFO of St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, N.J. Alice Pope. Executive Vice President and CFO of Wellmont Health System (Kingsport, Tenn.). Ms. Pope has nearly 25 years of experience in fi- nance. She has been with Wellmont since 2000. Her previous experience includes serving as vice president and CFO of Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tenn., where she helped develop and implement a $114 million renova- tion and expansion project.
