Erika Horstmann, RN, MSN, CASC, is a director of operations for Pinnacle III where she has managed several ASC facilities in Wisconsin and Illinois. Her management skills foster efficient, engaged staff and positive surgery center environments. Ms. Horstmann holds an MSN from Loyola University in Chicago. Angela Humphreys, JD, is a member of Nashville, Tenn.-based firm Bass, Berry & Sims. She has led healthcare transactions valued at more than $14 billion. Ms. Humphreys' practice includes healthcare finance, contracting, regulatory matters, operational matters, mergers, acquisitions and more. Andrea Hyatt, CASC, is president of the Maryland Ambulatory Surgery As- sociation and has served on the organization's board for more than eight years. She is a member of the board of directors at the Maryland Patient Safe- ty Center in Elkridge. She previously served as administrator of Dulaney Eye Institute in Towson, Md. Ms. Hyatt helped open the ophthalmic ASC in 1995. Ms. Hyatt has lobbied on behalf of MASA and on Capitol Hill for ASCA. She is credentialed in quality improve- ment, a licensed risk manager and expert in regulatory compliance. Kylie Kaczor, MSN-RN, CPHRM, is the executive director of Laser Spine Institute St. Louis. She also holds a Master's of science in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She is a certified professional in healthcare risk management and is also certified by the American Heart Association in ba- sic cardiac life support and advanced cardiac life support.
