Clinic and Brentwood, Tenn.-based RegionalCare Hospital Partners. Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System and Green Bay, Wis.-based Prevea Health finalized an agreement to join Brookfield, Wis.- based Integrated Health Network of Wisconsin, a clinically integrated network of major health systems and the Medical College of Wisconsin. The Lakewood Hospital Association and the Lakewood Hospital Foundation signed a letter of intent with Cleveland Clinic to replace 108-year- old Lakewood (Ohio) Hospital with a family health center. Mayo Clinic will extend its reach to China under a joint venture agreement that will establish a company in Beijing to improve healthcare deliv- ery and efficiency. Mercy Memorial Hospital System in Monroe, Mich., officially joined Toledo, Ohio-based Pro- Medica and changed its name to ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital Montefiore Health System, based in Bronx, N.Y., added White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital to its net- work upon receiving approval form the New York State Health Commissioner. Nason Hospital, a 44-bed community hospital in Roaring Spring, Pa., signed an agreement to join Brentwood, Tenn.-based for-profit LifePoint Hospitals. Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health an- nounced a shared services agreement with Mon Health System in Morgantown, W.Va. Nonprofit Penn State Health, which was formed by the merger of Penn State Milton S. Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center and PinnacleHealth Sys- tem in Harrisburg, Pa., received approval from the Penn State Board of Trustees to acquire St. Jo- seph Regional Health Network from Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives. Penn State announced a plan is in place for Penn State Milton S. Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center and Harrisburg, Pa.-based PinnacleHealth Sys- tem to form a new health enterprise. The merger between Stony Brook (N.Y.) Univer- sity Hospital and Southampton (N.Y.) Hospital was unanimously approved by a State University of New York trustees committee. Cincinnati-based TriHealth signed a deal to ac- quire Oxford, Ohio-based McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital after two years of discussion. United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, N.Y., and Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health Sys- tem officially merged.
