Part of Cincinnati- based Mercy Health, Fairfield Hospital has served patients in Butler County for more than 30 years. The 192-bed hospital has received Magnet des- ignation for nursing excellence and designation from the American College of Surgeons Commis- sion on Cancer as a Community Hospital Com- prehensive Cancer Program. Truven Health Ana- lytics named Fairfield Hospital one of its 100 Top Hospitals and as one of the 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in 2014. Fairview Hospital (Great Barrington, Mass.). Twenty-five-bed Fairview Hospital is part of Pitts- field, Mass.-based Berkshire Health System. The hospital has received a number of accolades in 2014, including a 100 Top Hospitals ranking from Truven Health Analytics, Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from Healthgrades and Get With the Guidelines Resuscitation Silver Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association for implementing certain qual- ity improvement measures for cardiac arrest pa- tients in the hospital. CareChex also recognized the hospital as one of the top 100 in the nation for overall hospital care this year. Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (Gib- son City, Ill.). Gibson Area Hospital has the dis- tinction of being the only critical access hospital in the country where 100 percent of the emergen- cy room nurses are certified in emergency medi- cine. The hospital received recognition as one of the 2013 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience in Obstetrics by WomenCertified, the 2013 Rural Health Quality Award from by the National Rural Health Association and received a 2014 Outstand- ing Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades. Good Samaritan Hospital (Vincennes, Ind.). Founded in 1908, Good Samaritan Hospital was the first county hospital in Indiana. The hospital now has 232 beds and is currently building a new hospital wing with plans to add 120 more beds. Good Samaritan Hospital boasts a 63-minute av- erage door-to-balloon time, compared to the rec- ommended time of 90 minutes. Additionally, the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association named Good Samaritan Hospital a Blue Distinction Cen- ter for knee and hip replacements in 2014. Grant Regional Health Center (Lancaster, Wis.). When first built in 1953, Grant Regional Health Center had 36 beds. Over the years, the hospital added beds, reaching a maximum of 56 before cutting capacity back down to 35 beds to accommodate additional hospital services, such as physical therapy and social services. The hospital was recently certified as a critical access hospital, and iVantage Health Analytics named Grant Regional Health Center a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in 2014. Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center (Panama City, Fla.). Approximately 250 physicians repre- senting more than 30 specialties and subspecial- ties serve Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center. The 218-bed hospital also is an affiliate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Cancer Care Network. Gulf Coast Regional Medical Cen- ter was named one of the 100 Top Hospitals in 2014 by Truven Health Analytics. Hammond-Henry Hospital (Geneseo, Ill.). Estab- lished in 1901, Hammond-Henry Hospital is a 25- bed acute-care facility. This year, it was named to iVantage Health Analytics' list of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation. In 2013, Hammond- Henry Hospital received Press Ganey's Guardian of Excellence Award for patient satisfaction. Hegg Memorial Health Center (Rock Valley, Iowa). Hegg Memorial Health Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital. The hospital is a 2010 Press Ganey Summit Award Winner, and it has been named one of the top 20 critical access hos- pitals in the country by the National Rural Health Association and iVantage Health Analytics for the past three years. Hill Country Memorial Hospital (Fredericks- burg, Texas). Established in 1971, Hill Country Memorial Hospital is a 76-bed facility located in the San Antonio area. In 2013, the hospital was recognized by Truven Health Analytics as one of the 100 Top Hospitals in the nation. Holland (Mich.) Hospital. Holland Hospital has 189-beds and many offsite campuses. For the past two years, Healthgrades has selected Holland Hospital as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals, after evaluating the clinical performances of near- ly 4,500 hospitals nationwide. For the past nine years, Truven Health Analytics has chosen Hol- land Hospital as the only hospital in west Michi- gan, and one of only three in the state, as one of its 100 Top Hospitals. Howard Memorial Hospital (Nashville, Ark.). Howard Memorial Hospital is a 20-bed critical access hospital located outside of Little Rock, Ark. In 2013, Howard Memorial hospital was named one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the country by iVantage Health Analytics. Hudson (Wis.) Hospital. Hudson Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that hosts approxi- mately 1,500 annual inpatient admissions. Hud- son Hospital is western Wisconsin's only hospital with 24/7 emergency medicine physicians. The hospital is also a regional partner of The Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin. In 2012, Hudson Hospital received two environmental awards from Practice Greenhealth, the national membership organization for healthcare facilities committed to environmentally responsible operations. This year, iVantage Health Analytics named it to its list of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals. Huntersville (N.C.) Medical Center. Huntersville Medical Center is a 75-bed hospital that is part of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health. The hospital opened with 50 beds in 2004 and expanded in 2012 to meet the needs of the com- munity. Huntersville Medical Center offers a full range of services, including cancer, heart and vascular, and orthopedic care. Inova Fair Oaks Hospital (Fairfax, Va.). The 182- bed Inova Fair Oaks Hospital includes a range of medical services, including those at its heart and spine institutes, the latter of which includes the highest number of back pain specialists in the re- gion. Truven Health Analytics named Inova Fair Oaks as one of its 100 Top Hospitals in 2014. The hospital has also earned Magnet designation for nursing excellence. Lakeland Regional Medical Center (St. Joseph, Mich.). Lakeland Regional Medical Center is a 272-bed facility. In 2013, Truven Health Analytics ranked Lakeland Regional Medical Center as one of the 100 Top Hospitals in the country. In 2014, Lakeland Regional Medical Center received the Governor's Award of Excellence for Outstanding Inpatient Clinical Achievement in the Acute-Care Hospital Setting. Lawrence (Kan.) Memorial Hospital. Estab- lished in 1921, Lawrence Memorial Hospital is a 173-bed facility. In 2013 and 2014, Truven Health Analytics named Lawrence Memorial Hospital as one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals, making it the only hospital in Kansas to receive the award both years. From 2011 to 2013, The Joint Com- mission named Lawrence Memorial Hospital as a national top performer in heart attack, pneumo- nia and surgical care, as well. Licking Memorial Hospital (Newark, Ohio). Licking Memorial Hospital is a 227-bed facil- ity that was founded in 1898. In 2013, Licking Memorial Hospital was named one of the Most Wired Hospitals by the American Hospital Asso- ciation. Also in 2013, Licking Memorial Hospital Home Care was ranked among the top 500 home care programs in the nation by research corpora- tion HomeCare Elite. This year, iVantage Health Analytics named it a Healthstrong Hospital. Logan (Utah) Regional Hospital. Logan Re- gional Hospital is a 135-bed facility. In 2013 and 2014, Logan Regional Hospital was recognized as one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics. In 2012 and 2013, Logan Re- gional Hospital received the Get With The Guide- lines – Heart Failure Gold Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association for achieving 85 percent or higher adherence to the guidelines of care recommended by the American Heart Association. Magruder Hospital (Port Clinton, Ohio). Twen- ty-five bed Magruder Hospital was certified as a critical access hospital in December 2002.
