A Joint Commission-certified primary stroke center, the hospital also includes a 36-bed skilled nursing unit and a 23-bed alco- hol and drug treatment center. St. Francis has re- ceived the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades every year since 2012. St. Mary Medical Center (Langhorne, Pa.). The 374-bed St. Mary Medical Center was founded by the Sisters of St. Francis in 1973. The hospital includes a staff of more than 700 physicians who provide care at the hospital's cancer, heart and vascular, trauma and orthopedic centers, among other services and specialties. Truven Health Ana- lytics named St. Mary Medical Center as one of its 100 Top Hospitals in 2014. Scott & White Hospital – Round Rock (Texas). This 101-bed hospital, located about 20 miles north of Austin, Texas, is centered on a campus along with a primary care clinic and multispe- cialty clinics. It was named a Top 100 Hospital by Truven Health Analytics in 2014, and iVantage Health Analytics named it a Healthstrong Top Hospital this year. Scottsdale (Ariz.) Healthcare Shea Medical Cen- ter. Established in 1984, the 433-bed Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center was ranked as the No. 3 hospital in the state and as one of the top 50 in the country for gastroenterology and GI surgery by U.S. News & World Report. It is Mag- net-recognized for nursing excellence, and earned an "A" grade from The Leapfrog Group for patient safety last year. Sentara Williamsburg (Va.) Regional Medical Center. Williamsburg Regional Medical Center has 145 licensed beds. The hospital was named a Healthstrong Top Hospital in 2014 by iVantage Health Analytics, and CareChex ranked it highly for medical excellence this year as well. Sky Lakes Medical Center (Klamath Falls, Ore.). This 176-bed community-owned hospital serves a population of 120,000 in southcentral Oregon and northeastern California. In fact, it is the only hospital in its 10,000-square-mile area. Sky Lakes Medical Center earned the Joint Replacement Ex- cellence Award from Healthgrades in 2014 — it regularly reports zero infections for its 300-plus joint replacement cases each year. Speare Memorial Hospital (Plymouth, N.H.). Speare Memorial Hospital has been serving pa- tients in central New Hampshire since 1899 and underwent a $15 million renovation and expan- sion in 2005. The critical access hospital was ranked as a Healthstrong Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics this year. Additionally, iVantage named it among the top 20 critical access hospi- tals nationwide in 2014. Spectrum Health Kelsey Hospital (Lakeview, Mich.). Kelsey Hospital is a critical access hospital with 16 acute-care beds and 31 skilled-nursing- facility beds. This year, iVantage Health Analytics named the hospital on its list of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals, and CareChex ranks it highly for patient satisfaction. Last year, The Leapfrog Group placed Kelsey Hospital on its 2013 Top Hospitals list. SSM St. Joseph Hospital West (Lake Saint Louis, Mo.). St. Joseph Hospital West, a 122-bed facility, is the only state-designated trauma center in its county. It was the first hospital in the St. Louis area to go live with an electronic health record system in March 2008. Truven Health Analytics placed the hospital, which has more than 800 em- ployees, on its Top 100 Hospitals list in 2014. St. Francis Memorial Hospital (West Point, Neb.). St. Francis Memorial Hospital opened its doors in 1923. Today the hospital's medical staff includes five family physicians, and one will join the staff in August. St. Francis Memorial has been named one of iVantage's Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals for three times in the last 10 years. St. Clair Hospital (Pittsburgh). The independent St. Clair Hospital is celebrating its 60th birthday this year, as it opened its doors in 1954. Today the hospital has ties to 550 physicians, and as a sym- bolic birthday present of sorts, 328-bed St. Clair made Truven Health Analytics' 100 Top Hospitals list for 2014. It also was recently named a Blue Distinction Center+ for cardiac care. St. David's North Austin (Texas) Medical Center. This 350-bed hospital has been open to patients since 1924. It is one of Truven Health Analytics' 100 Top Hospitals for 2014, and CareChex ranked it sev- enth in the nation for quality medical care, as well. St. Francis Downtown (Greenville, S.C.). St. Fran- cis Downtown is a 245-bed facility with all private rooms. The community hospital, part of Marri- ottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System, offers a full range of services, including open-heart surgeries and bone marrow transplantation.
