HCA's new year-end adjusted EBITDA to be nearly $6.6 billion. Graymark Healthcare has announced that company has been renamed Foun- dation Healthcare. The corporate rebranding reflects the company's recent acquisition of Foundation Surgical Hospital Affiliates and Foundation Sur- gery Affiliates and a new focus on the surgical hospital and facility industry. Medical Facilities Corporation announced that the practice Orthopedic Surgery Specialists has joined Avera Medical Group. The practice has a 35.4 percent interest in MFC's Dakota Plains Surgical Center. Neither MFC nor the physician's ownership will be affected. Northstar Healthcare is set to acquire Brown Hand Center outpatient sur- gery center in Scottsdale, Ariz., for $460,000. The acquisition is subject to final approval by a bankruptcy court. Nueterra Global Alliance announced a new partnership with FirstHealth of the Carolinas. FirstHealth of the Carolinas began accepting patients referred by the Nueterra Global Alliance in January. Surgical Center of Greensboro (N.C.) has earned conditional approval from state regulators for a $23 million facility that would consolidate two existing locations. The surgery center is affiliated with Surgical Care Af- filiates. Williamson Surgery Center in Round Rock, Texas, recently held a ribbon- cutting ceremony hosted by the Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce.
