15 12th Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC Conference + The Business of Spine - call (800) 417-2035 BridgePoint Advantage. Alphatec Spine's BridgePoint Advantage is a mini- mally invasive system designed to replace pedicle screws for certain indica- tions and patient types. The implant includes a unique telescoping plate for surgeons to fixate and compress spinous processes that restore sagittal align- ment and facilitate a reliable interbody fusion. CAYMAN Minimally Invasive. K2M recently received FDA clearance on the CAYMAN Minimally Invasive plate system which is used for spinal fractures, tumors and degenerative conditions in the anterior and lateral spinal col- umn. It is a single-level lateral plate for a truly minimally invasive option. CD Horizon Legacy Spinal System. Medtronic's CD Horizon Legacy Spinal System is designed to treat scoliosis. The system has been used in more than 500,000 surgeries since its introduction in 2004. The system is made from either titanium or stainless steel implantable grade metal. Ci Computer Assisted Knee Replacement. iOrthopaedics launched the Ci Computer Assisted Knee Replacement, developed by DePuy, to enhance and extend the orthopedic surgeon's skills and experience during knee replace- ments. They system provides an unobstructed view of the patient's knee joint on a screen to give a three-dimensional rendering of each surgical step to assist with proper alignment. Ci Preservation. The Ci Preservation from DePuy for unicompartmenal knee surgery is a less invasive procedure that builds on the instruments de- signed for the conventional Uni implant. The system includes virtual plan- ning and kinematic assessment software that permits implant position opti- mization prior to bone cuts. coflex. Paradigm Spine's coflex implant is an interlaminar stabilization de- vice designed for use in one- or two-level lumbar stenosis procedures. The device is made of biocompatible titanium alloy that is x-ray visible. The co- flex is a single, U-shaped device designed for placement paralleling the long axis of the spinous process. Copeland Humeral Resurfacing Head. Biomet's Copeland Humeral Resur- facing Head is a shoulder implant designed to preserve as much bone as pos- sible. The device uses patients' natural anatomy for placement and allows for exact retroversion, exact posterior offset and exact angle of inclination. The implant has 20 years of clinical history. CoRoent XL. NuVasive's CoRoent XL is used during intervertebral body spi- nal fusion and designed for use with autogenous bone graft that facilitates fusion. It can be used at one or two contiguous levels of the lumbar spine or as a partial vertebral body replacement. The implant has radiolucent PEEK- OPTIMA material. CrossFix II System. The CrossFix II System from Cayenne Medical is the next generation meniscal repair device for open suturing techniques through a less invasive procedure. The all-suture device secures meniscal tears with the same horizontal or vertical mattress stitch. DENALI Minimally Invasive. The DENALI Minimally Invasive from K2M, an extension of the DENALI Spinal System, is a top-loading pedicle screw system. The system has a 50-degree polyaxial range of motion, designed to allow greater variability of screw placement. Epicage Lumbar Interbody System. The Epicage Lumbar Interbody System from Alphatec Spine is designed for use in a midline approach or oblique approach in transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion. The system is designed for delivery that protects surrounding nerve structures. Epiphany. Scott Spann, MD, founded Pantheon Spinal and developed Epiph- any as a lateral access device to L5-S1. The device is designed for use in pa- tients with advanced degenerative disc disease and intended for implantation via an oblique lateral lumbar exposure. Exactech LPI Prime. The Exactech LPI Prime hip system was introduced in June 2013 as a more conservative treatment option for total hip arthroplasty. The system is designed to maintain the maximum amount of proximal femo- ral bone while providing initial stability to enable biological fixation. FACET FIXX. The FACET FIXX screw system from Nexxt Spine can be used during minimally invasive or traditional lumbar spinal fusion. It features multiple diameter fully threaded and partially threaded screws with double lead helical thread and a multi-axial compression washer to increase the load-bearing area of the screw. Firebird Spinal Fixation System. The Firebird from Orthofix is used dur- ing minimally invasive spinal procedures. It is intended for posterior, non- cervical pedicle screw fixation and includes a wide variety of ergonomically designed instruments. FlipCutter. The FlipCutter from Arthrex allows surgeons to perform the minimally invasive GraftLink ACL reconstruction procedure. FlipCutter is used in combination with anatomic guides to allow independent femoral and tibial redrilling to create sockets while maintaining the cortices to maximize fixation. FlowerCube. Flower Orthopedics introduced its FlowerCube, a single–use bone fixation concept. Each FlowerCube contains disposable, surgery-specific implants and instruments. Surgeons have the ability to customize the contents of the FlowerCube, selecting from implants such as the Flower Locking System. FORTIFY | Corpectomy Spacer. The FORTIFY from Globus Medical is de- signed to give anterior column support and prevent implant dislodgement. The implants are available in PEEK or titanium. The system also comes in a range of sagittal profiles and footprints for customization. HemiCAP OVO/Glenoid. The Stemless Total Shoulder System includes the HemiCAP OVO, which matches the humeral head geometry with a 4mm offset and a partial or full inlay glenoid implant which virtually eliminates overstuffing. The HemiCAP OVO maintains native anatomy in the shoulder and the inlay glenoid component can minimize the effect of edge loading which has been shown to be a primary cause of failure of onlay glenoids. HemiCAP PF WAVE. The Patello Femoral HemiCAP is available in two dif- ferent sizes, with 21 trochlear convexities and 13 different patellas making it the most versatile PF system in the world. Both the trochlea and patella are designed as inlay implants in order to maintain and restore congruency in the PF joint which is very important for proper patella tracking. Hi-Line XXS Minimally Invasive Spine Surgical Device. Aesculap's Hi-Line XXS Minimally Invasive Microsurgical hand piece was launched in March 2013. The device is designed for broad use and improved in-procedure vis- ibility during minimally invasive spine surgery. The Hi-Line XXS has a high- speed motor and requires no assembly. Hybrid Reamers. Symmetry Medical's Hybrid Reamers are designed for minimally invasive or open total hip surgery. They are designed with a three point connection method for secure connection between the driver and reamer with a minimal incision. The device doesn't have connection bars on the back of the reamer for increased surgeon visibility into the acetabulum. iBalance Unicondylar Knee Arthroplasty. The iBalance Unicondylar Knee Arthroplasty System from Arthrex is a minimally invasive, instrument and implant platform to treat degenerative or traumatic knee osteoarthritis. The system was launched in 2012 for partial knee resurfacing consisting of highly anatomic femoral and tibial resurfacing implants. ILLICO Multi-Level Minimally Invasive Surgery System. The ILLICO Multi-Level MIS System from Alphatec Spine is indicated as a solution for posterior fixation of the thoracic and lumbar spine. The system is designed to address multi-level spine trauma and deformities. The system includes ILLI- CO FS Facet Fixation screws and the ILLICO MIS Posterior Fixation System. iTotal G2 Knee Replacement System. ConforMIS launched the iTotal G2 Knee Replacement System, the second generation of its patient-specific total knee replacement platform. The knee replacement system is tailored to the patient's specific anatomy based on their CT scans. The system is packaged in a sterile kit that includes all implant components and instruments. iDuo G2 Biocompartmental Knee Resurfacing Device. The iDuo G2 Bio- compartmental Knee Resurfacing Device is designed to treat moderate to
