KentuckyOne Health in Louisville, Ky., named Joseph Gilene president of St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky. Jon Bartlett was appointed CEO of LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Va., and market president of Salem-based LewisGale Regional Health System. Orlando (Fla.) Health named Jamal Hakim, MD, interim CEO and president following former president and CEO Sherrie Sitarik's departure. The Woodlands, Texas-based Victory Healthcare announced the appointment of Gregory Cunniff as CFO. John Currin stepped down as CEO of Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C., as he transitions into retirement. Sumter, S.C.-based Tuomey Healthcare System announced the resignations of President and CEO Jay Cox and Executive Vice President and COO Gregg Martin. Saint Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor, Mich., named Robin Damschroder COO of two hospitals — St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy Livingston in Howell, Mich. Mullica Hill, N.J.-based Inspira Health Network appointed John DiAngelo as president and CEO. Boston Children's Hospital appointed Sandra Fenwick as president and CEO. LHP Hospital Group in Plano, Texas, named John Holland CEO. R. Edward Howell announced he will retire in July 2014 as vice president and CEO of University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va. Constance Howes retired as president and CEO of Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, R.I. Dirk Morgan was appointed as CFO of Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky. UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Ala., announced its elimination of the CEO position. It moved interim CEO Anthony Patterson to the role of senior vice president of inpatient services, a newly created position. Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health Care named Steven Roach CEO of Malborough (Mass.) Hospital. Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corp. of America named William Rutherford executive vice president and CFO, effective Jan. 1, 2014. Providence, R.I.-based Care New England Health System named Ed Schottland acting president and CEO of Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket. Silver Cross Hospital in New Lennox, Ill., named John Krepps senior vice president and CFO. Robert Steigmeyer plans to leave his position as CEO of Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa., to become president and CEO of Concord (N.H.) Hospital, effective January 2014. Margaret G. Lewis, president of Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America's Capital Division, is retiring at the end of 2013.
