Ms. Bozzuto is also a surveyor for AAAHC and president of Connecticut's Ambulatory Surgery Center Patient Safety Organization. Tammy Brinkman, CPC. Ms. Brinkman is the director of contracting and reimbursement with Blue Chip Surgery Center Partners. At Blue Chip, she oversees the recruitment, contracting and re-contracting of ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and small hospitals. Pamela Bronson. Ms. Bronson is the administrator of Northeast Surgical Care, a freestanding ambulatory surgery center in Newington, N.H. She has served as the center's administrator since it opened in 2000 and played a critical role in the opening of the ASC. Jennifer Butterfield, MBA, RN, CNOR. Ms. Butterfield is the administrator of Lakes Surgery Center in West Bloomfield, Mich. At Lakes Surgery Center, Ms. Butterfield has played a key role in adding a spine program. Nancy Calhoun. Ms. Calhoun is the administrator of Roanoke (Va.) Ambulatory Surgery Center, a physician-owned and multispecialty center. Ms. Calhoun has been with the center since it opened in 2003. Karen Cannizzaro, CASC. Ms. Cannizzaro started her career in ambulatory surgery in 1992, working as a surgery scheduler. Ms. Cannizzaro was recruited to the newly opened Physicians Day Surgery Center in 1998, and other than a two-year break to pursue another interest, she has been there ever since. Connie Casey. Ms. Casey is the administrator of Northpoint Surgery and Laser Center, the first physician-owned surgery center in the West Palm Beach area.
