Ms. Thrasher is the administrator of Precisions Surgery Center of Dallas, affiliated with Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America. She has served as an ASCOA administrator for more than five years. Maggie Summerfelt. Ms. Summerfelt serves as administrator of Advanced Surgery Center in Omaha, Neb., a physician-owned facility with two ORs, two procedure rooms and specialties that include orthopedics, podiatry and pain management. Meg Tomlinson. Ms. Tomlinson has served as administrator of Metrocrest Surgery Center in Carrollton, Texas, since September 2002. The center merged with USPI effective July 1, 2010. Sue Sumpter. Ms. Sumpter is administrator at Creekside Surgery Center (also Providence Surgery Centers LLC) in Anchorage, Alaska. She was recruited in March 2011 to turnaround the finances and case volume of the failing center. Angela Talton, MBA, RHIA, CCS, CPC, CPC-H. Ms. Talton joined National Medical Billing Services in 2012. As Senior Vice President of Coding, she leads the company's coding and compliance departments, providing the long-term planning and operational oversight. Kay Tucker. Ms. Tucker is the director of communications for the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. She was an integral part of making sure the ASCA annual meeting in Boston ran smoothly despite the Boston Marathon bombing and subsequent investigation. Kimberly L. Tude Thuot. Ms. Tude Thuot has been in healthcare administration since 1997 and joined the physician-owned Yakima (Wash.) Ambulatory Surgical Center in August 2009. She holds a master's degree in organizational management. Elaine Thomas, RN, MBA/HCM. Ms. Thomas began her position as administrative manager in the St. Francis Mooresville (Ind.) Surgery Center and was promoted to director in 2007. She is a member of AORN. Rebecca S. Twersky, MD, MPH. Dr. Twersky is the vice-chair for research and professor of anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center at Brooklyn, where she also serves as the medical director of the ambulatory surgery unit. Joyce Deno Thomas, RN. Ms. Thomas is the senior vice president of operations for Regent Surgical Health. She supervises quality improvement efforts and partners with surgery centers to manage everyday operations. LoAnn Vande Leest. Ms. Vande Leest is currently the CEO of Northwest Michigan Surgery Center. She has previously served as the president of the Association of Wisconsin Surgery Center. Shirley Thomas.
