Laura Wilt, senior vice president and chief digital officer of Sutter Health (Sacramento, Calif.) n The 10 highest-paid CIOs By Giles Bruce CIOs' compensation is growing as their responsibilities increase, e Wall Street Journal reported. e base pay for CIOs is rising 15-30%, executive search firms told the newspaper. Chief technology officers' median pay rose 30.81% in 2024 from the previous year, per analytics firm C-Suite Comp. Here are the 10 highest-paid IT executives by 2024 compensation (including base salary, stock awards, nonequity incentive plan compensation, bonuses, option awards and other compensation), according to the July 1 story: 1. Sudarsan attai, Lineage: $29.5 million 2. Bridget Engle, Wells Fargo: $22.12 million 3. Rajat Taneja, Visa: $20.2 million 4. Javier Polit, Costco: $9.73 million 5. Mark Hagan, AMN Healthcare: $4.11 million n Delaware health system names interim CIO By Giles Bruce Ron Belfont has been named interim vice president and CIO of Dover, Del.-based Bayhealth. Mr. Belfont brings three decades of technology experience, including the past 11 years at Bayhealth. He most recently served as chief information security officer. He replaces the retiring Rick Mohnk, who was CIO since 2015. "Ron's leadership and deep knowledge of our IT operations position him well to guide the team during this transition," the two-hospital system said in a July LinkedIn post. n
