CMO, CNO and chief quality officer moves
Karen Gallagher, MSN, RN, has joined Silver Cross Hospital in New
Lenox, Ill., as vice president and chief nursing officer.
Sapna Singh, MD, a pediatrician, was named chief medical officer of
Texas Children's Pediatrics, and Terry Yen, MD, a pediatrician, has
been appointed chief medical officer of Texas Children's Urgent Care.
Both hospitals are in Houston.
MUSC Health has tapped Erik Summers, MD, as chief medical
officer of its Charleston, S.C., division.
Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health has tapped Betty Jo Rocchio,
DNP, CRNA, as its next chief nursing officer.
NYC Health + Hospitals has named Amit Uppal, MD, as the next
chief medical officer at its flagship Bellevue Hospital.

appointed Chad Perlyn, MD, PhD, as executive vice president and
chief medical officer, as well as executive medical director for the
university's integrated healthcare network, NSU Health.
