GI specialists Harsh Gupta, MD; Amit Patel, MD; Daksesh Patel, DO and John Vainder, MD, will care for patients at the new, modernized facility, according to an April 17 press release. The 1,790-square-foot facility will have seven clinic rooms. GI Alliance of Illinois is also adding a new, fifth practitioner, Anna Patel, MD. Dr. Patel has seven years of experience, and her addition to the team will shorten wait times for patients. n GI Alliance affiliate grows, adds Dr. Scharles Konadu By Claire Wallace F ort Worth-based Texas Digestive Disease Consultants, an affiliate of management group GI Alliance, has added gastroenterologist Scharles Konadu, MD. Dr. Konadu treats all GI issues but specializes in colon cancer and IBS, according to an April 24 press release. Dr. Konadu is affiliated with the American Board of Internal Medicine Gastroenterology and was recently recognized as a Rising Star Top Doc.
