Janice Walker, BSN, RN. CNO at Advocate
Health (Charlotte, N.C.). Dr. Walker joined
Advocate Health as its Southeast Region chief
nursing officer in January 2024. In her new role,
she is responsible for the strategic leadership
of over 18,000 nurses across Atrium Health's 40
hospitals and hundreds of care sites. She brings
25 years of healthcare experience to the position,
having most recently served as system executive
vice president and system chief nursing executive
for Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health,
as well as executive lead of the BSW Healthcare
System Nursing Institute.
Maureen White, RN. Executive Vice President
and CNO at Northwell Health (New Hyde Park,
N.Y.). Ms. White is in charge of developing and
implementing health strategies, nursing policies,
protocols, strategic planning and operational
standards. In 2011, she received the American
Organization for Nurse Executives Mentorship
Award. Before taking on her current roles at
Northwell Health, she served as vice president
for patient care services of Manhasset, N.Y.-based
North Shore University Hospital and LIJ Medical
Center in New Hyde Park.
