Dr. Momi performed the surgery earlier in June, resulting in a successful two-level lumbar correction, according to a June 15 press release. Dr. Momi was also heavily involved with Altus Spine's engineering team during the system's design and development process. e ALIF system offers a choice of implant materials, footprints, lordotic angles and heights. Its screw fixation anchors provide stability. Dr. Cole will support EpiBone's work to develop living bone and cartilage for human transplantation, according to a news release. He is a managing partner at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and specializes in shoulder, elbow and kneee surgery.
