96 TRANSACTIONS Prism Vision Group acquires 8-physician practice with ASC By Alan Condon N ew Providence, N.J.-based Prism Vision Group, a vertically integrated eye care services organization, has added Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates to its platform. The Bel Air, Md.-based practice has eight physicians and five locations, including a surgery center, according to an Aug. 19 news release. It provides the full spectrum of eye care with subspecialties that include cataract and refractive surgery, glaucoma and specialty contact lens fittings. Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates is an accredited teaching facility with the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Elkins Park. It has an optometric residency and student externship program and is an active site for clinical research studies. Prism Vision Group said it is the largest vertically integrated independent ophthalmology administrative services organization on the East Coast. The platform comprises 80 locations, 150 providers and has more than 1,100 employees throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. n Orthopedic Care Partners invest in new Missouri ASC By Claire Wallace Orthopedic Care Partners has closed an investment in a state- of-the-art ASC in Wentzville, Miss. The center, which opened in 2021 and includes a clinical space, two operating rooms and an imaging center, will join OCP's Motion Orthopedics Platform. "Wentzville is the fastest growing St. Louis suburb, and this investment is a significant growth milestone for OCP and Motion that enables us to better serve our existing patients and meet the needs of a rapidly expanding community," Rich Gilbert, MD, Orthopedic Care Partners' CEO said in an Aug. 29 press release. The investment is backed by Varsity Healthcare Partners, a private equity investment firm that specializes in lower-middle market healthcare services. n New Jersey medical office building sold By Riz Hatton A medical office building in Fair Lawn, N.J., has been sold, roi-nj.com reported Aug. 26. The property is two stories and 25,944 square feet. 2300 RT 208 sold the building to TYH Acquisition. NAI James E. Hanson represented both parties in the transaction. "Medical office buildings that have long-term, in-place leases have proven to be a growing commodity in the northern New Jersey marketplace," Darren Lizzack, vice president of NAI James E. Hanson, told roi-nj.com. n Arkansas endoscopy center property sold for $4M By Riz Hatton The property housing Little Rock-based Endoscopy Center of Arkansas was sold for $4.02 million, Arkansas Business reported Aug. 29. The 9,969-square-foot ASC property was previously purchased in August 2020 for $3.2 million by Stage Equity Partners, the report said. Real estate investor Ryan Properties is the new owner. The deal for the 1.42-acre property was funded with a five-year loan of $2.5 million, the report said. n
